50% chance of snow. *le sigh* Got out and rode yesterday even though I wasn't feeling so hot. Managed to lose a Gerber Multi tool, at top peak bicycle multi tool, and some tire levers somewhere in Palmer Park. Not exactly thrilled about that.

We're supposed to get a little precip this morning followed by sunny and mid 50s; I'll take it. I guess it's time to put the summer wheelset on the Fit. Oh, and take some kind of a ride...

It's s Slipknot kind of day. I may need to duct tape my skull to keep my head from bursting open with rage. I hate being a manager.
Had lunch with a former co-worker. It is fun to hear all the drama going on back at the drug plant, without having to go there. I told him about getting subpoenaed for a friends child custody trial. He told me about getting subpoenaed for a murder trial. A lab tech I used to work with was sleeping around with one of the quality guys, he shot her husband. Sounds like they are trying to tag the girl with conspiracy.

My dad lives in Denmark and I see him once a year. Just found out via Facebook that he is Florida on vacation. That I am on my way to Florida on vacation tomorrow and could easily have met up with him. Fucking family.
Nice I was there a couple of years ago. Drove a lifted Land Rover through the outback or whatever ever they call it through frozen stream and snow. It was epic.
Looking for recommendations for things to do. Buddy of mine got a week off from the family on wife's orders. Was discussing a trip to germany to visit a mutual friend. It was decided that Germany was too far for just a week so we decided to go to Iceland instead.
Would like to do a couple of days of hiking/backpacking, should help keep down hotel costs a bit.
Rode, did trail maintenance, didn't touch the car, temp hit 60, rode back happily in shirtsleeves. There is hope.
I was there over a long weekend in the winter we flew the company there. We did back country quading which was really fun. But the best was a whole day of just driving Land Rovers through Iceland. We got to drive them but it was not cheap but something I will never forget. Nightlife and food in Reykjavik is really good and lots of beautiful women.
