I approve of this. How do you like the Inline, I'm still on the Fox and dislike the lack of midstroke support.
I love the adjustability of the Inline...I think I have it dialed in pretty well, but I'm waiting to see what Turner's settings look like, and see how close I came. That said, I didn't really have much issue with the way my Fox felt, I just wanted to try one of the Inlines when they were released. That's the blessing and curse when you own a shop...you can swing deals to get the latest goodies, but my customers expect me to have some working knowledge of those parts.

@ChrisKring has been torturing me with teaser pics.

Picked this up last night.

No complete build pics yet, should have it finished tonight.

Stock "Solo" Carbon S build. Though I will likely get rid of the front derailuer and second chainring and add a chain guide.

i just put my small sprocket back on and release my clutch and drop the chain down for the long climbs , and back up to the N/W for the trails made climbs alot nicer .

I live in Michigan. Long sustained climbs are fairly rare. Especially local to my house. I may regret this decision on a couple of trips out east this summer, but hopefully my legs are strong enough by then to get over it.

currently just running the stock 34t chainring. I have a 32t spare I can toss on, and probably will for those trips.

I need to trim the dropper hose down, but otherwise it's all done.

Not entirely novel, but new shock, fork, 30t NW ring instead of a chainguide and a color coordinated dog for 2015:

I also opted for the dog option with my bike.

New bike rides well. Put a few quick rides on it this weekend. Looking forward to getting out on it a bit more as our trails dry up and the snow stops falling.

It's a fun set up, and handles like you'd expect. The razor has decieivingly good braking performance when it's fresh, and cornering is consistent throughout its lifespan. The greatest tradeoff is climbing traction, which is noticeable. The Mary stays up front and never comes off.

The Razor really is surprisingly good until it gets either really steep or more than a little muddy when climbing. I only run the Magic Mary for downhill days though since it takes quite a bit more effort to pedal around than a Hans Dampf or Minion.

Has anybody here experimented with a DHR2 up front? I'm really liking the one I'm running in the rear and recall some pro running a cut version up front.

On a trail bike no, but that's the tire that Santa Cruz put up front on the complete V-10's this year. Haven't had it on the trails yet, but my wife's V-10 has that combo.

Yeah you're probably thinking of me. :D

I did do a cut that's a little different than what some endurpo guys were doing with them in chile last year. Mine was to narrow up the widest center knobs, there's was to cut off the inside part of the 'L' shaped sideknobs. Both open up the channel more and should make them hold corners better.

But yeah running them unmodified works well too. Don't be scared of the R. Good designs are good designs. It's actually a really good braking tread on the front.

Wouldn't the removal of the 'L' shaped bit on the side knobs effectively make it an HR2?

Also, have you tried the DHR2 vs HR2? They seem pretty similar. Maybe M327 is some sort of density decreasing substance, as the M325P is apparently about 90g heavier.

The HR2s are just kind of floppy on hard surfaces.........cornering, braking. You live somewhere relatively dry, you've felt the squirm yeah? I think they're good on soft dirt but suffer when it gets hard.

There's very little squirmy with anything on the dhr2s. They grab, they break loose, they drift pretty predictably. I could see taking the short part of the L off making them a tad more squirmy but it's only every other knob. I haven't tried it though.

I've ridden the HR2s a bunch but they were the first run versions. Maxxis beefed up the sideknobs on them since.

Completed a couple months ago. But this is how its built as of now. 07 6 Point, Lyrik RC2DH SoloAir, Vivid Air RC2, mostly well thought out build. 32lb without dropper. If I can get a dropper and make a few component changes to keep it at 32lb, I will be happy. Hope to retire it to a high quality loner bike after this season, and get a Capra to replace it for next year.

Interesting. I'm no tire gu-ru like the woo.....but I find that I really like the high roller II's on firm hard pack trails and opt back to the minion dhf's when things soften up a little bit.

try again kickstand, you're doing it wrong.

I bought a 3C Dual Ply 2.4 when they first came out and the side knobs did tend to get squirmy on hard pack. I keep hearing that the EXO versions are great on hard pack but I've been hesitant to drop coin on a set based on my experience with the DH version. All we have around here in the summer is baked clay.

I liked them until things got damp. I've got a set on this years bike, not sure if they are 3c or exo, or what not.

I do suck at cornering, so maybe I'm just not pushing them beyond their limits.

I don't know how you people even make it out of the driveway on those things.

Dogboy: happy with those wheels? They stay tight?
Very happy with them Woo. I've been on this set about a year and before that a 26" set. Never had a problem with spoke tension and the rims, spokes, and hubs are all quality. Super easy tubeless (if you're into that sort of thing) and probably about as stiff as you can get short of carbon. A lot cheaper to replace a rim too if needed.
