Sometimes, sort of. Don't have a brand favorite. I'll use it if the planned mileage is up in the 40+ range or if I already have some chafing.
I'm in this boat. I'm trying to ride every day, so there's really no letup. At the start of riding, I can barely sit on the seat.

To the OP: Butt'r works fine when in an emergency. It'll help heal chafing when not riding, too.

Butt butter would just give you the feeling of having a load in your shorts without the unpleasant smell. If that's your thing then go for it.
Important to take care of your butt. My ass is hairy, it hurts by chafing hair rather than skin!!!

Not sure if I put too much in my shorts or if it was that quick succession of deep brown mud puddles I went through, but it felt like I pooped myself mid ride.
Excellent ride, though.
