Riding the baggage carousel.

Slept on my right side at some point during the night, my hip and my shoulder woke me up, still hurting this morning. I was going to go ride, but I may just start the day off with a fistful of ibuprofen and a bottle of Knob Creek.

I rode, tried to get some speed in the bike, no succes. On the last lap I totally burned out and crawled back home to a cold shower. I think the heat is getting to me more than I will admit.

More JavaScript. The upside of all of this programming work is that this program will make one of the more tedious things I do (interpreting thyroid ultrasounds) a point, click, and cut 'n paste affair.

Oh hey there, good morning to ya. I was coerced into a beer rather than the bike ride I was hoping for last night. Night not wasted, but getting on that bike tonight... right after a quick run. I'm really feeling that I haven't got a good workout since Friday! Time to remedy that!

In other news.... football 6 days a week. My life has become work-football-sleep-repeat. Kiddo is loving it and I've never seen him bust his a$$ so hard for anything in all his 8 years!

I'm sure your paiients will find that very comforting.
There are published algorithms that we should be following regarding which nodules get worked up and which are likely benign. This just automates these published algorithms.

If anything, it should reduce variability (duh) and error (assuming I didn't code in an error), which are good things with regard to quality of care. The obvious paper to assess whether this is true will be out by the end of the year… everything in order to get another publication.

In a van.... down by the river
holy shit. really?
did you know that's is a bad place to go OTB?
Yeah - it was a day of bad juju at Deer Creek. Rear der cable came loose early in the ride. Then I pinch-flatted my DHR coming down from Red Mesa. Fixed that mess, cursing tubeless the entire time - then had a disastrous run on The Wall. Avoided OTB twice before succumbing low on the run. Fortunately when I finally went over, there were two hikers and an uphill biker to observe my lack of skill.

Nowhere Man!
I had my second interview. I made fried Bologna sandwich's with Sharp cheddar and Nancie's mustard. When they asked me why I made them and I stated it was what I wanted for lunch. Because it was. They were good, Garlicky bologna and I made a sourdough loaf in a pan, let it cool and grilled them in a pan in the oven. Grandma Brown beans also. They asked me a lot of silly questions, I gave a lot silly answers. They made a big deal out of my time in Boston as if it is some kind of culinary mecca. I learned more about food in Toronto then anywhere I have ever lived. I bring my food to you, not the other way around.

Just a lil smokey out there today. For some reason the smoke moved north and south of us, giving a much desired clear-ish day. Also rubbed so much peach fuzz into my shirt this am eating peaches, I itched all day.

where the trails are
All of the left coast smoke has been choking the front range here in CO.
Today the wind and some rain moved in and I can see the mountains again (which says something as they're a few hundred yards from the house)

The nice thing about living in Kansas is that the smog drifts away to your neighborhood.
