dooshy on both counts. but i still say you posted your feelings somewhere at minimum semi-public. that's just not too bright. for all i know jackalope might be my boss and is tracking all of my "fuckit friday" rides and tales of beerz at lunch. it would be my own fault if that was the case and i got fired.

yes they do and no he didn't have it set. still think it's a douchy way to shitcan someone. oh, he he was shitcanned by text on Saturday
To me this says more about your boss than it does about the guy who posted on facebook. People say or write things aboutt their bosses all the time, it's human nature and is usually temporary. To me sucking it up is easier than hiring a new employee. Who wants to work with someone who turns minor drama into a work place shit storm?

Had an encounter with a shitheel today. They got an email on the 7th, asking to fix an error. Said person forwards me the request for fix yesterday, TEN days after getting the first notification.

They've emailed me twice so far asking for me to look into it. Priorities, man. If it took you ten days to do something with it, it must not be too important.

Hmm, I wonder which box this one falls into?

Todays he's spent most of his day watching vines, and watching different TMZ like news clips of things rappers said or did. THE WHOLE FUCKING DAY HES DONE NOTHING.
I only laugh because that is how my office runs. She texts the latest boy toy and plays on facebook, and I work! :)

he really is insecure. I had a frank and open talk with the owner when all this went down. basically the tool bitched to him that he felt i didn't have his back, which i never did, even told him this months ago. it's not my job, place or responsibility to have anyone's back but my own. so i went thru a few points with the owner on what the situation was with the other guys and how everyone felt about the situation and the tool himself. last couple of days he's been helping when before he wouldn't lift a finger. too little too late and i don't see this lasting one bit. it's all just a band aid. we have a new guy starting tomorrow and as much as we can use the help, i almost want to intercept him and tell him not to bother. but i know the tool will try to win his loyalty cause he needs someone on his side. he's pissed one kid off to the point where the kid signed up to join the Navy. he'll be leaving soon. too bad cause he's a funny guy

Love how the boss comes in bitching about how many emails she got and all these things that need to get done and it sucks and she's tired, and :blah::blah::blah:. But guess what? She doesn't DO any of that work. It all goes to me, and she still sits on face....book.

Boss got "stuck on the island" ...with her boyfriend... and said she would work remotely. Have I been able to get ahold of her with urgent matters? Nope. Honestly, I can't wait for the day when she moves on, and I can move up!

Shitheel got a flat tire in his Audi SQ5 today. He called 5 of us at the office to solve his tire dilemma from the parking lot of the Westminster mall, which had a Sears tire in it.

Then he called Audi care to have them tow it to the dealer so the dealer could order him a new tire. RAD. $700 tire anyone?

Don't you have to replace like all four on quattro cars?

I really don't like, trust or respect most of the people I work with. I was starting to think that maybe the problem was me. Then I can spend two days at a customer and befriend, trust and respect everyone I interacted with.

Do people like her really move on? The time is now grasshopper, the time is now.

So she is stuck on Bainbridge IsLand? I was once stuck on that island for a weekend and it wasn't bad.

She is good enough at what she does that she trained me to do all her stuff for her like a good monkey. She's up for a promotion, naturally!
Nope, the San Juans, I'm sure she had a miserable time...

That moment when the company president calls at 3:30 and the boss already left, but the project he was asking about that he sent her to do, was done by me, and I was able to answer his questions... :) That little "oh!" when I told him I had been working on it with her all morning never felt so good! :weee: Her slacking off seems to be working out well for me!

Sounds like you're being given ample opportunity to throw your boss under the bus.

Do it.

I agree, most bosses are rated on the results they achieve through others, bad bosses tend to lose good people who move on to positions where they will be better apprecited. If you have the will and the skill keep looking for the situation that works best for you. In my experience opportunities are taken more than they are given, those who wait it out end up with leftovers.

We just hired a person with 15 years working experience and a Bachelors degree. Her resume was about 20 lines long, two of them dedicated to high school. Someone damn well better know her personally.

We have guy here who seems to misunderstand how projects work, and what the ultimate goal of our organization is (he is our sub-consultant) within the project. He's about 15 years my senior. Let's call him OldieShitheel.

I sat in a meeting with him last week where we were being told by the builders that they were being held up due to some outstanding approvals we owed them. I pointed out that they were not, and looked over to OldieShitheel for confirmation of that fact (OldieShitheel is one of our subconsultants, and so, I am his client). He and the builder guy went on a ramble amounting to: "it's complicated". I left the action item for them to "sort it out, and let me know exactly what documents need clarification. As far as I'm concerned, you can get going, so, get going".

OldieShitheel and the builder had a chuckle and more or less dismissed the issue.

I pulled OldieShitheel aside after the meeting so he (as my sub) could bring my up to speed as to why the issue was "complicated" and why we were delaying the builder. He went on a long ramble of reasons why all kinds of unrelated items were complicated and avoided my question. Turns out we are not delaying the builder at all (on paper), but OldieShitheel was quite happy to agree that we were in a meeting (which gets minuted). This is bad thing. He didn't get this.

Rather than see this as a problem, and agree to help get all of this clarified, he tried to drag me into an argument about design issues which were completely irrelevant. What makes this all the more frustrating is that this guy forgets that he's not a fucking designer, and has no business getting into the designs of others. When he's reminded of this, he gets his back up and then gets a total hardon to put his mark on a design that isn't his, not matter the impacts to the project schedule, budget, etc...

When I wouldn't back down, he started to agree with me, but wouldn't agree that he'd made a misstep in the meeting. I pointed out that agreeing with everyone all the time, even when they are spouting nonsense, is not helpful.

He forgets who's side he's on once he's challenged on anything, just for spite.

I don't understand how he's still on our project team.

My shitheel was asked by the owner's kid to put a list together of his job description so we can hire additional social media fucks (as owners kid called them) Shitheel says, im really busy i'll try to get to it. I grin. Good reply shit dick, he says I have a bunch of emails to read, and a email blast to put together, so ill try and get it done.

Owners kid says im just concerned we've talked about this several times and nothing happens and we have the same conversation again a month down the road.

Shitheel doesn't even acknowledge that last part. Just says he'll try to do it.

I feel shitheel is like a plastic part in a car tire well that makes contact with the new larger tires. In other words. self clearanceing problem.

Shitheel also just told me how someone commented to him how much better everything is since he got to rotiform.

Look, don't fucking tell me stories about people congratulating you on how awesome you do your job, which you don't actually do.

GUESS WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!?!?!?!?! Building buyers gave our job offers Friday... they offered current boss a position and a different building, but not here. They said they are hiring on another person to my position. So I ask.... How does that work with two in the same position? How do you split that work load? And THEY said.... We would like you to train her, and you will become the new manager for the buildings!!:D:dance::dirol::happydance::monkeydance::neo::weee::yes:

This, also, has been my experience:
:disgust1:

you know the real world doesnt function like that. Heres what the real world outcome is.
project gets completed. boss gets praise for having and maintaining such a strong team. boss gets raise, no promotion. employees left with boss
