Haven't been on in a while due to being uber super dooper busy. some of you have seen my journeys on FB but for those who are not graced with my friendship on social media here is the downlow.

My nonprofit has exploded this year and has really taken off with huge popularity.

The start of the year wa sour mexican border trip working with border patrol. always a good time. I think we had 12 disabled vets on this trip.

Nevertheless we always seemed to grab some funny photos. I tried to get Manimal to come out but I think he was busy shooting peeps.

we got a grant from the Wounded Warrior project for a custom $30k handbuilt drift boat that has 3 doors in the hull to allow disabled vets to get in and out of the boat on there own.

This new boat has been absolutely huge for us and can fish 4 vets at once through this thing.

We were able to get and handful of disabled vets in to the San Juan invitational fly tournament in new mexico.

Most of these guys were pretty green but learned a lifetime worth of fishing in just a few days. Two of the guys I took fishing learned how to row boats, bought their own and now take other vets fishing for free.

Yellowstone was a blast as always, took about 25 vets this year and all had a great time.

This year I paid for a vid pro to come along and document the trip and produce a vid showcasing who we are and what we do.

So far this year alone we have ran over 450 vets through our fishing trips alone

And over 10 hunting camps for elk with over 37 veterans on hunts

We have also harvested over 14 cords of firewood that goes to disabled veteran families this winter who will be in need of free heat.

And we just recently got tracks for our jeep so when the river condition are too nasty we can take wheelchair bound vets into the high lakes for ice fishing.

They will do 55 on the hardball and 35 through the deepest snow out there without flinching. these trips have been a huge hit.

And proud to announce that jimmydean (the official meat of ridemonkey) is now one of our esteemed board of directors!

I haven't been riding much since race across america but plan on building a new DHr since our local mountain has started scratching some lift runs.

Check us out on facebook if you haven't already www.facebook.com/warfighteroutfitters

I will get online more in the next few months as I start getting excited about DH again. just been keeping myself out of trouble and out of the bars with the non profit.

Had a fun weekend in Sisters rolling in the Christmas parade with GFF and friends. His Jeep is bad ass, can't wait for a little more snow to get crazy in it.

I don't care what they say about GFF, he is a stand up guy and does good work.

god damn that looks like so much fun
There is a short video of him on facebook blowing through the woods on our way to the parade. Waiting for deeper snow to really get loose in it. I'll be making another trip out soon to get all the paperwork done and hope to bring the moto for some snow play.

Living the dream.
I've been following along on FB but seeing it all here in a year end summary really brings it together. You've been busy as hell at some commendable work. Awesome job man, keep it up. If you're ever out here in the northeast I'd love to try and get together for a ride or a beer.

Awesome stuff man. I know you do a lot on your own, but if you ever need CNC plasma or machining/welding, hit me up and I'll help out as much as I can!

A funny story:

So GFF is trying to figure out how to attach the flag to the Jeep for the parade. We knock all the snow and ice off the tow hitch and pull the pin. He takes the hitch into the shop and comes out 5 minutes later with his perfect solution. He pulled the ball off the hitch, flipped it and welded a 10" piece of scrap square tube to the bottom. Flag fit perfect and stayed in place even while he was playing in the woods.
