If I was Aaron and in this situation I would do the same thing, smokescreen. Agree'd he must love reading this, you know he has...Yo Aaron! As much as we make fun of the drama it is what makes this fun, which is what ppl are paying riders for (and results)...I love running my mouth on the internet right now, great times.

Interesting, makes sense financially.

Even if Gwin wins every WC and World Champs next year, I guarantee Specialized will still sell at least 10X more Enduros than Demos. And that number should keep growing for a while.

Graves could be riding pretty high right now...
Maybe Enduro is not where DH guys go to retire, but to get a pay raise!

I haven't give much thought to the Gwin rumors because I was so certain he wouldn't be leaving Spec. Do you lot really think he is going to be on a YT next year? Mind will be blown if he is, although I can see with their recent explosion onto the scene they may just have the cash and the balls to throw down big for him.

they do have the money and resources to develop something dope though, but not even a hint of a spy shot or anything has come about in that regard. maybe they will be headline sponsoring him for his own team and he gets to pick the frame?

If it is a KTM deal, they have pockets deep enough to pull pretty much any ride he wants.
Your own team, full factory support and the bike of your choice.
Hell, in theory, he could have several bikes from various companies, and choose the weapon of choice for the day.

Still not sure he will leave special-ed, got the jersey, bike seems to be dialed... unless there is a dump-truck of $100.00 bills involved, does not make sense to bail - at least looking in from teh wilds of Southwestern Flat-ario.

No KTM spy shots? What do you call this:
So clever- prototyping in broad daylight in a video that's supposed to be a spoof!

Cero has worked with KTM for close to 5 years in the past. He tends to run bikes long, low and slack. His plastic bike won worlds masters with a time that would have put him way up in Elite men.

So they have hired an Engineer and want more. It wouldn't be hard to throw together some bikes for a team. Especially if they went ALUMINUM with them to start...

Anbody off this board lands that job I request a 450 SXF in return.

I think Gwin will be on a specialized again, just on his "own" team. Whether it's sponsored by KTM or TLD or whatever, my money is same frame, just different "core" sponsor.

Rob said in the Minnaar interview specifically that he would be on a new bike next year. Unless there is a new Demo somewhere, it seems like he is going to be on something other than a Specialized.

A Spanish design firm, bahahaha!

Expect the product to be very late and not quite working correctly, because, well you know, it's Spain.....

I think it's funny you have to advertise a job opening in a country with 25% unemployment rate! Just throw a rock....

Which is why KTM supercross racers have different brand MTB sponsors, if you haven't noticed. Dungey is on Trek, for instance.

YT tues carbon needs to get dialed for the world cups.

if JS the welder now a tuner wants to podium his M16c at the WCups,
he should hire someone who knows how to podium carbon dh bikes.

Didn't he specifically say "he'll be back on a..."?

That should limit choices.

...while in a SC shop, with an SC rider, drinking Bud Dry (maybe not, but I'm on a roll) and hosting his own TV show in the UK.
Aaron will stay aboard Specialized, Brosnan gaining moar momentum, Graves lighting up Enduro races w/ Keene, Anneke Beerten is pretty.
Flat pedals for medals.

he does say that, and then it gets bleeped. I'm sure Rob used some inappropriate euphemism and didn't actually say what brand he would be going to. but before that he says to Greg, "new bike for him next year" "what bike is that?" "I don't know if we can release it here"

Muddy what are you even on about? Gwin was deleted from the Specialized website, and one of the foremost authority's in DH mountain biking(the fucking announcer for Red Bull, ROB WARNER) said he would be on a new bike. If this is you on a roll, i'd hate to see you on an off day.

It's all about the coin - Rob Warner has been seldom held to any script, ever. You have to be gull-a-bull if you really believe these type things.
And by on a roll, I merely meant... or did I???

Whatever the case may be, nothing is indicating Gwin not riding a Specialized. csermonet - Gwin is to RedBull much like Sam is to Monster, so his not being on the Factory Specialized 2016 roster is sauce for the Goose and sauce for the Gander.

i have absolutely no idea what sauce for the goose or the gander is lol judging by Rob's inflection and facial expressions though, I'm pretty sold on the idea that he will not be on a Specialized next year

OK... let's see what we've got here:

- Nude pic of Gee? Check. (This is the most terrifyingly unnatural picture I've ever seen. Thanks for the nightmare fuel)
- Existential ponderings from Riffle? Check. (Man is a thing stretched across some stuff)
- Rumors of Peaty retiring? Check. (A staple of Rumorz since 2009)
- Confirmation of Peaty actually retiring? (Yes. Fu@k. OK then... Duvel and Champagne showers in the SC pits at every World Cup next year.)
- Rumors of Gee being a big meanie? Of course. This is the intertubez. ("P.A. in the pits gave me the run-around when I asked if he/they would sign my poster. Conclusion: OMG, LIKE GEE IS SO MEAN U GUYS!!!")
- Rumors of talented, veteran racers switching brands and teams after years with said company? (Yup.)
- Are some of these rumors true? (Yup.)
- Is Gwin riding for ******* next year? (YOU BET YOUR ASS.)
- Have I said too much already? (Don't hate me because I'm beautiful)

Yup... everything seems just like it was last time. As you were.
