Hello, I am doing some research and was hoping you can help me.

What is more common today and used on new builds, ISCG or ISCG 05?

What is more available for aftermarket parts (bash guards, etc.) ISCG or ISCG 05?

If you buy a piece of shit Trek there's a possibility of it being an 03. But since they use those piece of shit press in bottom brackets, there's a possibility it's now an 05 due to "necessity".
