$1495 with CC DBA CS, zoinks!! http://shop.knollybikes.com/collections/all/products/knolly-podium

Confirm my suspicions you blokes who ride one, at 5'10 (179cm) without shoes on (har har), a medium is too small yeah? No Larges in this sale, smalls/meds only. :banghead::banghead::banghead: Trying to replace my Medium Sunday which is too small for me. Buddy mentioned getting a Works Reach adjust headset to make the medium Podium work, but I remain skeptical....Ugh.

Anyways, someone buy one, good deal.

wow. kiler deal.

I'm 5'11 and know two people with Podiums; one M and one L. I honestly think I could have ridden either one but would have opted for the L. If you're on the fence and can make the M work with stem length or the offset HS, go for it.

Not sure if this helps, but I'm about 5'10" and I have had two medium knolly's, a 26" endorphin and now a warden. I've read comments from Noel on the mtbr knolly forum that he tries to make sizing consistent through different frames, ie if you fit a medium warden, you'll be a medium podium too.

Tried both an L and XL. L felt kinda smallish. I liked the XL more.
I´m 180cm, prefer longer bikes though. The thing is definitely on the smaller side.
I personally could not ride the Medium. Was way too small for me.

Yeah, doing a bit of measuring on my Sunday and reading online, no way I am going to risk it. Big purchase for me, don't want to be stuck with a(nother) small frame.

What about one of the GT Furys on sale right now? They run long; or are you set on 26"? http://www.jensonusa.com/Mountain-Bike-Frames/GT-Fury-Frame-2015?cs=Black/Yellow
I have eye'd it hard! Good deal, they have a medium (which like you said, GT runs big. I sat on a buddy's Large Fury and it was a jet liner).....as to 26/27.5 Not dead set on either, but I have a 26" fork and wheels and like them, so don't want to replace, or be banging my pedals left and right with an even lower BB height.

Would you hesitate to run a new 27.5 DH frame with 26" wheels? Or would this be asking for pedal strikes? Or anything else I am neglecting? After all, the difference is probably very very (very) small.

Well...I am running a 26" on the rear of my 27.5 frame, but the starting BB height was 13.9, and it's around 13.5 now and I'm running 165 cranks without issue. Dropping both ends on a bike that starts at 13.75" might be a different story.

Running 26 wheels on a 27.5 frame may be a bit of a stretch, mostly due to low BB heights. Your other geometry settings will obviously be affected too, but I'm thinking the BB would be the only insurmountable issue. My Gambler frame, which is made for 26 and 27.5, is pretty much un-rideable with 26 inch wheels and the shock chip flipped to the low setting. I'm talking sub 13 inch, I think it was 12.8, BB heights!
