Right, when the cap comes off you need an 18 mm instead of the 19...
Mine is just that little hat on top (see the black one I posted). The black ones I bought are exactly like the chrome ones on there now. They are solid, not that funky cover style, those look awful.

Are you trying to say that both your new black, and existing chrome lug nuts are solid, with just a pressed on end cap? That they don't have an all encompassing chrome veneer?

Haven't you been listening to what these guys have been saying?

Yet, i've never had the problem of lugs disintegrating. Also never chewed the inside of a rim because my brakes decided to come apart. Maybe its because the factory audi stuff is stainless steel. and not some cheaper material with fancy tin covers.

go figure.

To avoid uncomfortable personal questions I will assume your surgery is in line with RM trends. From there it can be said that you are getting noo boobs or a vasectomy. Either way best of luck and heal up.
Thanks Westy! Probably not a typical RM one since it was in my uterus, but hey, it's relevant and close to dirty!! ;-p All went well, though in typical skibunny fashion I overdid it by going to work and putting on a Seahawks rally the next day and have been working 12 hour days. Whichever way you slice it, I'm probably 85% healed now and ready to go play in the bike park! Whoop!!

Glad you are well.

Pre-season rally's are dumb. Get your priorities straight, when the weather is good, getchurassindamountains.
