Meh, there's XC bikes ( hardtails and short travel full suspension XC specific bikes), there DH bikes, and then there are trail bikes. I don't recognize "enduro bikes"

When I read the interview it looked to me like he was talking about just 30 riders being at the race for the whole weekend. Think about how many of our top-30 riders this season wouldn't have even been able to start in Lourdes if that had been the case. I just took a look at start numbers for Lourdes on Roots and Rain, Mick Hannah wouldn't have been able to start, Steve Peat, Sam Hill, Adam Brayton (currently in top-10 overall), Neko Mulally, Taylor Vernon, Alexander Fayolle, Phil Atwill, Markus Pekoll, and Greg Williamson to name a few. At MSA, Charlie Harrison went into the top-20 with a #87 plate.

Maybe going to top-20 wouldn't change much for TV-viewers, but going to a race would suck... there'd be a lot of downtime between riders. If nobody wants to actually go to the races, why would anybody bother to put them on?

do you recognize kids when they're on your lawn?!

:D
Yes, I recognize infants (XC bikes) but I don't recognize toddlers, teeny boppers, adolescents, teenagers, and young adults, and I recognize adults (DH Bikes) and the rest I just recognize as "kids" much like I just recognize Mountain Bikes and or trail bikes as such, and DH and XC bikes as such :D

Now, get off my lawn.

but you do recognize them coming in different travel flavors, do you? and no one has won yet with one that's on the lower end of that scale...
First, get off my lawn!

Second, yes I already stated and agreed with Gary the enduro (model not type of bike hehe) gwinn won on is damn near a dh bike.

Third, get off my lawn.
