Anyone else watch this? The wife and I Netflix binged it and have to say it was pretty good. Interested to see when the next season comes out.
the one good thing i have read about tv in the last 6 months is that hannibal might be back for a fourth season in 2017...Ever since we switched to Directv the wife has been filling the DVR with all sorts of crap. She has found about 6 more shows she needs to watch.
My sister was talking about it this weekend, I might check it out if I have time.
Mr. Robot is good as well. Need to catch up with that.
i need to get caught up on season 2.....my brother already spoiled the swerve of the season for me...sounds interesting....I saw the first two episodes last night and we'll probably watch more. Also watched all available Mr Robot episodes recently - even better.
Got like 20 minutes in and was like, meh. Went back to Silicon ValleyYou watch the whole thing?
seriously?? LOLLucas' 25/12 gearing i NOT 1983 approved! Dudes on BMX Museum are totally up in arms about wrong bikes!
Watching the first episode. Two minutes in, first problem:
BMX bikes are wrong models for the era. Modern frames, microdrive, wide bars. All wrong.
I am finding that hardcore BMX dudes are their own breed!seriously?? LOL
get off our lawn!!!
I had this same issue and my wife made fun of me for it. I stuck with it @kazlx 's insisting it didn't suck and he was quite right. It took a bit to get into it, but I was sucked in and we blew threw it in a couple days.it was very distracting for me. it was also something i picked up on almost immediately.
it's something that's easy and cheap enough there's really no excuse. ESPECIALLY since there are 1 or 2 period correct bikes alongside them in the show. It's like what Fast & Furious does for car people.
I'm guessing there just comes a point where they realize 99.99999% of the population won't know the difference or care. Or they (show makers) don't know the difference or care.
dude they could have found period specific bikes at the thrift store for under $50Oh, I totally agree! My neighbor works in the "industry" and heard they had a low amount of dough for period age props, like 250K, but still....
point being they could have done better at a thrift store than with something that's clearly been made in the last 5 years.Disagree, prices are going up due to said people in groups like BMX Museum. I have not seen many vintage bikes below 300, and even those need work.
