I feel like today should be a day spent relaxing. The spitting rain confirms that. I think the plan is to go pickup my new linkage from Turner at FedEx, do a ride and then watch the World's while fixing the DH bike and enjoying a beer.

Rode some awesome ROX yesterday.

Todays ride will be on a flat ground.

Still feels like puzzle but this one has pictures so win. I'm considering bleeding the brakes on the GT and Giggle Pig. Also thinking I should save time and get it done right the first time...

I had an amazing ride last night from about 5 to 7:30, it was 70 degrees with very little wind and at least a half hour of light left when I got back to the car.

In a van.... down by the river
Rode my local trail yesterday afternoon. Glorious 75* on a Friday afternoon and nobody's there. On the DH I happened across one old man walking, a biker coming up the hill, a couple hikers... and that was it. Should have been prime-time. WTF, people??

where the trails are
gorgeous morning, mid 50s, actually waiting for it to warm up a bit before heading out for a ride.
unfortunately, lots of work to do this weekend before hitting the road next week

Rode Deer Creek, decided Nick's very nice skis are too long for me, then bought 2015 ex-demo Volkl Mantras in 177 cm from Powder7.

Not bad for a morning.

Didja ride down The Wall? It was getting pretty loose and sketchy when I rode it yesterday. That wall's gonna get me one of these days. :D
Yup. Did the whole figure 8 and the wall on the way down. Red Mesa is not worth the extra climb IMO.

Windy ride complete but it was less windy at the end than the start. You Tubed bleading Guide brakes and promptly to the GT and Giggle Pig into the LBS, I'll get at least one back on Tuesday.

I presume that you bail on your own rides also? :D

Rode Leicester Hollow and Chandler Ridge today. Got rained on intermittently. Found a lot of big blowdown, some of which I addressed with a handsaw.

In hell. Welcome!
Lovely day at Badlands. Found some fossils and reported them to my new rangers friends. now just relaxing in the Indian summer sun, this ranch on top of a mesa with 360 views of the Badlands, white river and Indian reservation is uber nice. Do I really have to go back to my home and job after this weekend? :panic:

home, feeling a tad beat up. bailey is fun but i did have an off or two...

stopped at the new new belgium brewery in asheville. don't really like their beer anyway and it was packed with a preppy/touristy crowd. will stick to sierra nevada, wicked weed, or oskar blues.

Rode my bike on my trails, by myself. Finger is better. It was kind of nice to not have to stop and wait. Other then just stopping and waiting because you can. Made the climb on the far north at Tryon for the first time this year. Stopped and waited after that....
