Living the dream.
There is a group of us heading up to NEK for a weekend at the end of September. We're all kind of doing our own thing as far as food and lodging, but we plan on spending the weekend hanging out and riding together. It's not going to have the same feel as hanging out in the lodge at night with everyone, but that's what the Tiki Bar is for. Anyone who wants to meet us up there and spend the weekend riding with us is more than welcome.

The clan of Splat, along with I Are Baboon and MtnBikerChk have rented a cabin in E. Burke
Mudgirl and I will be towing our camper up and staying in Brighton State Park about 30 minutes away
I think irishblue76 and Hillseeker will be in the area staying with friends

Hmmm... I'm running low on vacation days left for the year but I'm kinda interested. I'd have to check my schedule to see if I have anything going on that weekend.

The climb up East Darling Hill Road is going to be so much easier on a tri bike.

This is Foliage Festival weekend, which means the parade, which means CANDY!!!

In hell. Welcome!
Between the North Dakota adventure at the end of August and VT50 in the first weekend of October, I don't think I'll be able to squeeze this one in my schedule without being handed divorce papers by my prettier half.

Not sure yet if I can get away, but if you get a group in need of lodging, I highly recommend the cabin on kitchel.

Not even close to luxury digs, but it's right on kitchel, close to town, and the owners are cool-ass people. The proximity to kitchel is awesome. If you hang your riding lights in the trees right, you can session the new berms and rhythm section in to the wee hours.

Myself and neverdead78 [hopefully that sn isn't taken (yet to have registered highly unlikely she ever will)] are about 80% in. We haven't made sleeping arrangements or sitter arrangements yet but there's still plenty of time for those small details.
