"I do drive it hard and fast, 157mph with more to go!! Doughnuts/burnouts and Drifting, and it's working just great!! No problems at all for the last 10 months since conversion!! Daily driver!!"

Suspension is just one of those areas that require an expert. You can't just cold weld up some plate steel and call it good. And if you are, at least pay someone who can weld. The pic from PBFab (Nate Porter is a god behind a helmet) is what you are looking for in a suspension piece.

This dude just eye balled it and said "looks good to me, hold my beer while I tack this in".

That whole suspension setup is just a matter of when it will fail, not if. Shit like that is pretty much what gets old about the car scene, being that a lot of people are too dumb to realize how bad that is. Supported by another 20 posts telling him 'looks great bruh' and 'damn, you done got the lowest Vette I seen, good work', with no regard to the thing probably handling like shit and 'if' he's able to sell it, the possibility of killing someone else.

If DW wants to do some wack ass suspension setup, it at least wouldn't kill anyone if/when it fails in epic fashion. But do that in a 3000# rocket doing 157mph and sh!t gets real in a hurry.

Growing up around lowriders, I saw some seriously sketchy hyrdo setups. But I also saw how to do it correctly and how to spot the difference. Problem is with some lowriders is you get enough grinding and bondo in there and it will look amazing.

Yup. It might last 3 months, it might last 5 years. But those welds and that setup is asking for trouble. The only person dumber than the guy that owns it is the guy that buys it.
