It does look a tiny bit like "Lon Lon Ranch" from "Zelda, Ocarina of time" yes... But its actually "Rohan" from "Lord of the rings".

Spillway on an earthen dam? Worker in an orange vest on the left side gives a scale to the photo. Water flowing down the face.
Damaged spillway at Oroville dam in CA. I believe they have a bit of emergency there.

No imminent threat, yet my old neighborhood of Beale AFB is being evacced...floaty thoughts and dry vibes going out to my friends, comrades and neighbors.
And to tag on to 'squeebs bit, which is about 5 hours south, depending on traffic...a more local bit of flood history. This flood decimated the area many years back...

Not to mention this one. The whole area is a flood plain, and the gold dredging and mining in the area hasnt ever helped.

They have been saying that all last week, then today the officials gave the public a 1hr-ish notice to start evacuations for the emergency spillway failing too. Major cluster-f over here.

Anyone seen the "crevice" in the auxiliary spillway, yet? The hole in the main spillway pictured above isn't it.
For a while I thought that ^^ was a photoshop until I heard about the dam issues on the news
