debating riding in this 40f weather :monkey:
It's 40F? I just stepped outside and with the wind it feels like total horse shit outside. If I can sneak out, I'm hoping there is some trail beer left and to continue swinging the ax at shit until we a) have moar trail and b) I'm no longer cold.

In a van.... down by the river
Oh shit.

I've been working at this building for two and a half years now and I think that I have FINALLY figured out who has been pissing on the toilet seat and on the floor around said toilet. How the hell do you address this, HR?
Make up a few signs that say, "I know who you are and if you keep pissing all over hell's half acre there will be consequences."

Profit?

Anyone know a reason NOT to have U-Haul install a hitch? I see them everywhere.
U-Haul should have no issue installing a hitch on your ride since it is a common ride and doesn't need any magic to make work. They also make a nice line of solid hitches, so it is a bonus.

Or you could order a Curt from Amazon and put it on in your own driveway. It's just a few bolts +/- cutting some plastic underbody trays on some vehicles.

I did this on my suby, it was a 1.5 beer project, aka 90 mins, but that included wiring harness.

You basically just drop the exhaust (via 5? Bolts) put the hitch on and rebolt.

I prefer hidden hitch hitches, as the don't protrude past bumper when the rack/ball isn't on..

I suspect you should be able to get the "correct" crossbar adapters to retrofit you old roof rack via the Google for far less $$, but that doesn't factor in the cost of replacement milk crate:cheers::rockout:

Just recon it and be done, best hitch rack, made in USA too. Cody is awesome!

Pumptracking last night was great, sitting in carpool sucks, and coffee is good

where the trails are
I ordered a Curt. Installation was a simple bolt up job, removing the rear bumper was a nightmare. Hidden bolts, wires, proximity sensors ... Ended up paying the shop to do it.

The 2017 model I bought has crossbars already. Truth is all I really need is 2 adapters as nothing has changed in the 10 years I've had the system... it's just a little too oxidized to be matchy matchy with the glossy new paint. If you know any body that has a use for it, it is up for grabs, complete with 6 matched locks. Someone could spend a weekend with it and it should last another 10 years.

I have no idea where I am
Moar trail gnome activities resulted in six more feet of delicious rock garden.

Temps in the low 30s and windy make it easy to work stealthy. While the fair-weather set is at home whining about the cold, we're out making trails technical again.

If you don't find any takers I'd be interested... Sometimes I'd like to have a 2nd bike rack, especially when using hitch for utility trailer or when monkeys invade SW Montana

Not a fan of being cold. But any day you get to ride bikes is always better then one in which you don't. The beer when you get done is always the best one of the evening. Almost always....
