trump approval's one thing and i'm not saying it's not a problem but the acutal percentage of people who belong to the fringe hate groups is very small versus the disproportionate amount of attention they crave and unfortunately receive.
more minorities voted for trump than voted for romney....

he pandered harder. romney just had binders of women and dogs on cars...
Romney wasn't a reality TV star that received nearly 6 billion in free coverage:

The real estate magnate got $4.96 billion in free earned media in the year leading up to the presidential election, according to data from tracking firm mediaQuant. He received $5.6 billion throughout the entirety of his campaign, more than Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio combined.

Nyet!

Google translate:
Roskomnadzor deprived the site of American neo-Nazis The Daily Stormer domain in Russia

Roskomnadzor blocked the site of American neo-Nazis The Daily Stormer in the domain zone (.ru). This is reported on the agency's website .

"Russian legislation has established an extremely tough regime to counter any manifestations of extremism on the Internet. The Daily Stormer website promotes neo-Nazi ideology, raises racial, national and other types of social strife, "the report said.

The office addressed to Ru-center with the corresponding request. The Registrar ceased the delegation of the domain name on the basis of clause 5.7 (rules for registering domain names in the .ru and .rf domains).

According to an ESPN executive, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the situation, ESPN asked Lee if he would be more comfortable calling another game but gave him the option to stay. Lee chose to switch assignments, and ESPN accommodated him.

This would never have been an issue at all, except for the fact that it was leaked to Clay Travis of Outkick the Coverage, who frequently critiques ESPN and has accused the company of having a liberal bias.

Besides Steve not being capable of reading into a headline, it makes sense regardless.

There's a Japanese place near where I grew up. Prior to September 11, 2001, it was called Osama's. Of course they're not brain dead and realize there will be an association because people are irrational - it was renamed.

Bankers arent dangerous...right...that is the single most idiotic implication in the history of the RM. Congratulations.
The family arrested in the story were customers, not bankers. They were arrested because they were Muslims, it was about race - correct thread.

They were arrested because the idiot banker could not believe that the brown skinned cat had a check for $150K...instead of confirming the check was good, he initiated the backwards ass banks procedures for dealing with suspicious minorities. There was little/no reason to involve the Police in this case, fault lays with the banker.

However, I refer you back to you first statement- "Eff the pigs too:" which would logically lead one to assume that you were going to rage against Cops. Had you led with something such as "What the fuck?" or something along those lines, I could see it being in this thread. But because you immediately started blaming Cops for all of your and societies ailments, I pointed out that it should probably be in the other thread...

If it was clear there was no reason to involve the police then why did the police perpetuate the racism, rather than serve the public? Police are not judges and humiliation of non violent suspects isn't part of their job.

Idiot, the fact remains that the whole situation was started by THE BANKER who involved the PoPo. If he (or she...) had a brain in their pointed head, they could have figured out in house if the check was valid. Its not like the Cops just wandered in and arrested these folks on their own, just because they were brown skinned. The banker didnt trust them and the check because they were brown skinned, hence the start of the shenanigans.

You let your hatred of authority figures cloud what little judgement you have been blessed with.

Bankers are the most dangerous people in the threat spectrum.

The police are supposed to have judgement too. They're not supposed to handcuff people without evaluating the scenario simply because a person (a banker or anyone else) told them their side of the story. And again the innocent the Muslim family was handcuffed and humilated rather than just taken in for questioning like a white collar suspect. Eff the pigs, idiot.

Uhh, as someone who spent a large majority of his adult life in law enforcement, I will tell you that yes, you are supposed to handcuff anyone you have apprehended...handcuffs can be taken off as easily as they go on, and better safe than sorry.

Was this a multi point failure, with blame to be assigned to the Cops as well? Yes. However, once again, I will assert that the banker started it all with his racist paranoia directed at the guy with the check. Had he done his due diligence and properly investigated the check, this would have never happened. Like all internet law enforcement experts you expect the Police to be the arbiters of ridiculous situations and find everything in accordance with what you feel is right or what you think you know. Which is less than nothing in this case. You were not there, you know only what you read on teh interweb, and this tells only one side of the story. For all we know the guy could have been a douche when the banker acted up.

But I forget, you are the knowitalltwatwafflekingoffuckingknowledge and we are all just dust under your tires. And i forget that a long time ago I resolved not to argue with morons on the internet. So bad on me and shit...you are not worth my time. Enjoy your moral, mental and psychological superiority, Twatwaffle.

Only 6 months for letting rounds fly in something that easily could have killed people. Seems woefully inadequate.

Agreed JM...there is some privilege in action there for sure. Maybe a first offense with some time served, good behavior etc...

I do give him credit for reaching out to the mosque congregants and making peace, and to them for accepting him. That kind of thing gives me hope for the future...
