In hell. Welcome!

At least it is my Friday and I shall not step in the office and work a full day until 1/2. But then ... production hell for the next 2 years :panic:

A little bit of snow and the mayhem begins. Now for a lovely day of work in which everyone wants everything but doesn't want to help do it. Gonna be glad when this week is over.

Good Morning!!

Whooo, man...this place is a ghost town today. Highway was empty...everybody done fled out.

Spent the evening laser-engraving names onto some bamboo trivets for my team here at work. They turned out great, and everyone did a good job of faking that they liked them.

Still have some shopping to do...carrying on the tradition.

There will be people out there today who will try and drag you down. Don't let them. You'll never know how much worse luck your bad luck has saved you from!

Worked off the powerpoint hell of yesterdays class with some pizza followed by a hard hour on the spin bike. Slept in this morning, amazing how much more refreshing it is to get up at 6am instead of 4 am. coffee then off to day two of powepoint hell.

Twas brisk last night.

Only 1.5 days until no work until January 9th. Have to crunch in some stuff and other mumbo jumbo beforehand. Which means the half day tomorrow will be F@CKED.

Buddies want to go see Star Wars tonight, but it starts at freaking 9:30pm. Jesus, won't be home until like 1am. :twitch:

Morning Monkeys.

Holy hell it is damn cold out there. Global warming my ass. 27 on walkies, Abbey is enjoying her coat it seems. My first Rottie didn't have a coat or boots or any real clothing and was a snow bound hound. Abbey is a little wuss when it comes to rain or cold. She loves the water, but HATES the rain.

Ironport can eat a bag of dicks, just saying. It prevents me from getting packages and I end up doing work from home on my network to be productive. There is so much wrong with that. /nerdrant

'Morning! Still no running while I nurse a leg injury, which I think is a tendon/muscle issue. There is one spot on my high calf that hurts like a bastard when I press on it, and I can follow the pain all the way down my leg to the ankle. I am cautiously optimistic that it is not a stress fracture. I've got an appointment with a PT Saturday to start addressing said problem. I feel no pain when I swim and ride the trainer, so I've been doing a lot of that this week.

Riding ferry to Bainbridge just for the sake of doing so. Traffic in Seattle is worse even then over the summer.

I still need to build a "track organizer" for the Lil Man. Was looking to do some big PVC tubes for the track pieces (3 sizes) and a bin for the connectors and one for misc track parts. The hope is we can add "put track away" to the chore chart and we aren't searching for pieces every time we want to build something sweet.

well, WHAT IS IT?

8yo got his main present early yesterday-a pair of rats. they promptly lost one in the den this morning, so we spent a while tearing the room up looking for it.

putting in a brief appearance at work for a few hours...

As much as I hate working in this area, its freakin' amazeballs for car sightings with all the monocle money floating around.

Went to bestbuy and saw a CLS63 AMGs, Bentley SUV, Audi RS5 and a Volvo V60 Polestar wagon in the parking lot. Having an M3 or some sort of Audi is so pleb.

wanttttttttt....

Hydraulics on the snow plough just crapped out with the blade in the down position. Thankfully I'd done a full lap of the neighborhood.

Now for someone more mechanically able with truck hydraulics to step in and fix...
