This country is so fucking stupid that I realized the following last year: Like that idiot country singer on stage during the vegas blood bath who miraculously and vocally changed his stance on gun laws, this is something that's going to have to happen to someone, literally involve them, before people realize how fucked up this place is regarding guns.

On the bright side, it's getting so common, there's a pretty good chance of it happening.

I've been shot at twice, wasn't doing anything that required a good guy to gun me down. Perhaps that is why I am such a liberal snowflake. Of course I have never been on the side of a massacre, but I did have a classmate in High School get arrested in home room after shooting his whole family before going to school. I kid I worked with also got arrested for walking to school with a shotgun with intentions of killing people. One other classmate had his head blown off accidentally by another friend. All in a nice safe suburban school district.

I don't remember hearing about a mass shooter that was a leftie? I imagine they exist, but maybe my selective memory only seems to recall the righties...

With the increasing rate of school shootings, how much longer will it be before children of NRA employees and members of Congress lose their kids to gun violence ? Will they change or shrug it off and accept it as just something that is a part of being a good patriotic American ?

I expect if you were to include gun incidences where there was only 1 or none injured]/killed the total would be well into double digits.
