'Morning. Back in my cubicle jail cell after being off site for two days. Re: commute, I drive 90 minutes round trip every day. Well, closer to two hours these days thanks to the never ending hell that is Springfield, MA highway construction. WHY IS THIS TAKING THREE YEARS!? But I digress...I don't mind the commute because it's mostly stress free and it's worth it for a good job. I just chill and blast the radio. I'd move or get a new job though to keep the wife happy.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball!

Traffic was terrible this morning. But on the plus side, I saw an R34 GTR, Porsche 911 GT3 RS and an Cayman GT4. Not bad.

Got absolutely soaked on last nights hike.

It has for a while felt like my axle on the right side pedal was bent. Well I found the cause of that today. My Dura Ace crankset has cracked more or less exactly where the middle of the spindle is located. Glad I found out before it completely fell off and I was close to a train station. Also its still within 3 year warranty. Just sucks I am without the bike just as I am doing the final prep for my 215km ride next week. Time to whip out the mountain bike.

The new fuckit friday.

Wife is getting pretty insistent about moving. We're just over 4 years off from having no mortgage. :dead:
Where the fuck to? Up here or just into a bigger house?

Here. Tired from work happy hour last night as our VP was in town. Met a bunch of management from other departments last night. Lots of questions about my goals and plans going forward, work history, etc from people I've never met before that are higher up the food chain. Apparently I've lit a fire somewhere. Have to start getting the house ready for the carpet install Friday.

Working 1-10 today. Revive-d back lawn but the front lawn’s hose was partially frozen.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Morning....another cold rainy day here (atleast it isn't snowing today). Took the girls to the local trampoline park yesterday to get out of the cold snow/freezing rain crap. Today we're cleaning! I do live an exciting life you know!

where the trails are
The right parts of downtown are pretty cool. Old North End, west of Memorial, Patty Jewett/Monument Valley, etc.

OCC = Old Colorado City. West of the freeway but before you get into Manitou.
Aahhh, I immediately went to downtown Denver. Of course.
Never mind.

Morning Monkeys.

Week one in the books and my project has not yet been approved. Learning lots about this old ass system and how to navigate it. But my dev environment is set up, so I have at least got that accomplished. Not easy when you don't have local admin and everything I need to install is flagged "restricted".

While the distance in commute has increased, the time increase is minimal. Still an hour each way.

Wife wants to move, but mostly because she fears it will be the only way to get the manchild out the house. Smaller house on moar dirt.
