Got up way too early, made for a clean drive in. Lots of folks WFH on Friday, so it should be quiet. Duck out by 3 and hope for the best. Reviewing software architecture documents is not as exciting as it might sound.

'Morning and Happy Friday! 4000 yard swim done before work, and now I am tired. I've been working off site in our technology center all week and this will more or less be my permanent work home for the next 18 months due to project work. I love this place...so much nicer than my office. They have an fancy schmancy $1800 coffee maker here (I Googled). The coffee that thing spits out is absolutely fantastic.
One drawback of this place is no free coffee. They put in a Starbucks, but I don't go there. I am down to 2 cups a day (one at home, $1 for one refill in the cafeteria here). I'd be happy with gas station pump coffee.

80 degrees and sunny today. I should have called in with the fishing flu.
My former employer is trying to go after me on some points in my employment agreement. They feel that I shouldn't be allowed to work within our industry in any capacity at all for a year - even though I'm an hour away from them...I feel as though they should smoke my pole.
It's going to cost about 2 years and 10k from a lawyer to show them how I feel, so I'm not entirely sure I'm up for that. Even though I'm right and I'll win....I'll still lose. Not worth my time, money or worry. I'll go into the penalty box for a year and work in another industry if that's what it takes to make them shut up...
I regret ever growing up...it's just been one hassle after another.

Nice ride with the boys last night, found a drooper pole on craigslist for the hardtail at a good price that I'm picking up today, fish fry at the dive bar tonight with my favorite lady, working on the race car mañana, either skiing or riding Sunday.

Snowboarder set off a slide on the pass. 3-5 hour cleanup. No one missing, but a truck was slid on.

Just follow some instructions and take it easy. Its pretty hard to fuck up. Maybe read some simple AC electrical theory. Then realize you pay the electric company to only jiggle your electrons. they dont give you anything.
