they should have a WC at mountain creek. after descending the 350ft of vert, the racers could sprint across the bridge to the lower parking lot and do a few urban criterium laps in the parking lot while jersey girls in bikinis and ankle monitors gaze on blankly.

I still can't get past showcasing the world's best DH talent down a 692 foot descent with a urban finish.
If anything at least it ups the level of perfection needed to win- and not “perfection” (ie pedaling) on some bobsled run. I think it will be rad even though the numbers sound underwhelming.

I swear its the same front triangle as the old frame hey. I reckon the yoke at the bottom is for running a 9.5" shock in a 10.5" frame spacing.

But I could be on crack.
FOR FFS MAN!!!
Are you blind?..... Stop wanking!!!
that bottom mount is clearly 1.5mm lower........ That changes EVERYTHINGZ!!!!!!!

If buckow is still involved in kinematics, I'm sure it rides well/better. But hiding it from cameras....... I guess that lower shock mount is kind of special
I've seen some speculation about the lower mount being used to reduce sideload on the shock, but it looks to me like it's just an easy adapter to reduce shock length. Didn't the Gambler use a 10.5"?

EDIT: Toodles beat me to it.

Maybe it allows them to test different shocks. Maybe it allows them to convert to a 29er. But hey, this is BitchMonkey so it probably just sucks and was designed by engineers that have no clue about anything.

Yeah. Watched it last night. So happy he's got it sorted out.
Have you watched Ben's scottish DH series Round 1 vid from last weekend?
It's one of our long standing tracks all the top UK riders and a few WC legends (eg. Rennie) have raced it in Nationals/SDAs.
it's well worth a watch too.

He beat Adam Brayton and got 1st place. He also had to replace his rear wheel before his 2nd race run. Pretty impressive.

Do you ride there often Gary? Are you planning on bringing your new 29er e-bike?

Loic is the only one with a broken bone, and its customary to get a major injury after winning a world championship. Nothing to do with Losinj

Damn it, i so wanted to see Bruni ride that track as he would have been just as planted in the rocks as the other riders will be in the paved section.
