While there's a Morzine thread up. Any recommendations of what to ride this year? (or what to definitely not miss out on riding). Been out loads of times but It's been a couple of years since (maybe 3) since I was last out.

Thanks. Rode Morgins last time but didn't make it to Champery. Infact I haven't ridden that track since the old Sam Hill version whenever that was. (10 years back?) Looks mega fun now. My mate Mark(@scottishmark on here) was raving about your track building after his last visit.

we will probably come to Morgins and Champery this summer.

+1 on Chatel, it's probably the best bikepark there and with huge variety.
Not sure if that's changed, but there's a tonne of cool stuff to explore and it's physically huge.

Chatel opened this weekend and many good times were had! This was shot last week just before the park opened.
@Udi - I'm sure you can see how much stuff has changed since the last time you've been here. Maybe it's time to come back?

Gaëtan, the filmer, was also the digger driver who built the bermy trail. Kristof was in the second digger for the Vink Line and currently builds in Champery and Morgins.

How are the trail conditions in Chatel in September, is the park well maintained or does it suffer the same late in the season brake bump infestation common in other parks?

I'm looking for a location for 4-5 days in early September north of Italy. Having a 6 month old at home, I not in prime condition myself exactly, so I'm not looking for huge jumps and maximum gnar. Thought about going to Lac Blanc, which is the shortest drive, but i wouldn't mind some more variety and an alpine setting that allows for some longer rides. I definitely prefer more natural terrain to an endless procession of berms of boredom.

Chatel closes on September 2nd.
What about spots in Northern Italy like Pila, Finale, Callizzano, Molini di Triora, San Remo or Diano Marina? Pretty much where that big bridge collapsed.
There's also Verbier, Crans Montana and Champery.

Thanks for the heads up regarding Chatel. Liguria is out for this trip as I have limited time and will be the only driver available - I'll try to make it down there in October again when i can go for a week or so. Champery could be a good option, do the lifts only run on weekends that time of year?
