My Dad and I are discussing plans for a pulley system that enables me to take my truck topper on and off by myself, for when the camper isn’t on the truck. I think we have a couple good ideas, we’re off to the hardware store in a few minutes. I’ll try and take pictures.

Depending on the topper weight consider a hand winch like they use on sailboats and a deck cleat in addition to the pulleys.

Do you do Ti? I lost my wedding ring.
What's the easiest way to size myself?
(Yeah, I watched Porky's!)
The easiest way to size titanium is to buy a new one.

Edit: Doh! Not helpful. The context escaped me. Any jewelry shop will size you as long as you do not disclose your intention to buy online until after they are done.

We got up high, some nice 20ft deep snow drifts at the side of the trail up top. But actual trail conditions were primo.

One of our local vagrant type bar hopping drunks sports a Kona Stab with bar ends and a dual crown boxer. The bike is for sale to anyone with "half a million fuckin" dollars". He has the good sense to lock it up while he slams them down. One day next week I'll ride around town to see if I can grab a picture.

6th bday party successful. Cleanup almost complete. Lost count of beers.
6 year olds can be very aggressive drinkers. It starts early with the nipples, progresses to bottles with nipples and eventually leads to sippy cups...

Today I decided to take the Giggle Pig on tomorrow's ride. I've done no maintenance this year so it was time to check the seals, set the sag and air the tires up to to 45psi for the climb. I haven't had the e13 TRSr tires aired past 35psi. As soon as I hit 40 on the front tire I blew out a dozen or so tiny sidewall leaks (mostly on the drive side) that would not reseal. Being lazy and not wanting to dismount and clean the tire I just added more stans. For grins I ran the UV light over both tires, the rear tire had a few sidewall leaks but the front tire appears to have hundreds of tiny seep marks, too many to count. A spare tube and some mylar have been added to the backpack.

I can't help myself, I always have to push it.

Even though I effed up and re-pulled my calf muscle at work Friday and SOB it hurt like all get out. With the help of ibuprofen I toughed it out and by the end of today's horse show I was walking almost normally (only a quasi Gimp) and walked over 5 miles.

I had planned on riding my road bike after work and had already packed it into my camper. No sense taking it back out, enter plan B, I brought along the fluid trainer and spun for 20 minutes tonight just to elevate the heart rate a bit. Time for some ibuprofen and dinner

I finally took advantage of some industry contacts and had some earthworks taken care of.

This had rid us of some Jurassic park blackberry and other murderous thorny bushes. And I’ll also get another parking space out of it. Win.

Then we went geocaching with the boys and checked out some crazy shiz. I think this is the “Toonie drop”

Edit: yup, that’s the toonie drop

But before all of that, went for a lazy shuttle/ride ride

This weekend was characterized by those desiring to get high failing to get their ass off the deck and ride, so I did some very nice solo rides mornings. Fucking stoners... Then yesterday, at the trailhead, I notice something on the ground - a sealed package, labeled medical marijuana, on the ground...:clapping:

We found one of those at Jackson Hole just off the Bridger Gondola. Gave it to a local. Payin' it forward. :D
