Patience with work is at 0. I'm effectively at 0 unaccounted for vacation for the rest of the year. God, I need to find something I enjoy doing that gets me out from under the corporate umbrella.

Riding the baggage carousel.

Ran 11 very hungover miles this morning. Pretty close to barfing at mile 4, and after I stopped at mile 11. Why do I do this to myself? :bonk:. Let the dog get in the creek when we were done, so I need to get her a bath at some point today, and I should nap.

Taking tomorrow off and riding the tri bike for six hours.
Reading this sentence made my shoulder hurt.

I got roped into being on a planning group in my area. Went to my first meeting and it was ok. At least it is small and i got to approve of some marijuana production facility.

Coffee and shed in the shed. Water garden. work. Then hopefully ride.

Morning!

Made it to Whitehorse, the Guinness World record holder for city with the least air pollution, what an illustrious title! Gonna hang out for a bit in town and see the sights before hitting the road again. Tomorrow we shall be in Alaska. :D

@stoney might I suggest early retirement and/or funemployment? Or if that doesn't work...

Trust me, I've run the numbers. If I didn't have the $12k/yr meds for my epilepsy we could do it.

Got email from Products VP and hiring has been delayed until Jan. #$%#$^$%^$

Also just got secret shopped and got hooked badly. First time, ever. Son of a bitch.

We do business in other company's names sometimes. There are specific rules around those and we get secret shopped to make sure we are playing by those rules. I didn't realize I was working with one of those clients and broke a bunch of them while trying to some new business during the conversation. Es no bueno.

rode a good rocky rooty jumpy 12-13 miles. it’s in the mid 90s and maybe 50-60% humidity...just like @SkaredShtles likes...

followed up with hanging at the local shop and then a huge cobb salad and imperial stout.

gonna try to convince the 8yo to go on a long greenway ride with me tonight.

In hell. Welcome!
I've had dentists tell me I should get them out since I was about 18... sadly, the issues around cleaning them have gotten to the point of actually needing to get them out. Or face losing the teeth in front of them too.
That sounds like a money grab. My dental surgeon told me after age 35, there is no benefit removing them - just risks of damaging nerves. I still have all mine and they are not going anywhere.

So far, I think the dumpiest places on our trip have been Missoula, MT and Grand Prairie, AB.
A shitty motel in Missoula saved my bacon once, after a particularly stressful and tired midnight drive from Helena where we could not get any accommodation because of some nascar race or something.
