Burlington, CO?

Wellllllllllll.......... because we had been driving aaallllllllll day, and needed someplace in CO, to lay our heads. First town across the border, hotel accepted pets, and there was a really, really good Mexican restaurant we dined at. Plus, the main street was a dead ringer for the crossing in The Notebook, one light and all. Kinda romantic, in a twisted sort of way.

80's slasher movie? Good thing that didn't cross my mind, otherwise we'd have stayed in what was called a motel room..... dog pic not downloaded yet.

Tequilas is the name. Seriously, pricing, quality/quantity, and atmosphere inside was excellent for such an off-the-beaten-path town. Also helped that the hometown football team was playing, and we could hear the announcer.

Thanks, Dh, it was, since we pretty much drove all day, saw parts of the US we'd never seen/been through, took pics by those "Welcome to" signs, and just enjoyed. Did I say 21?

Wifey and puppy were/are so worth it!!!!!

Finally, since I am a lazy guy, here's a pic of our, er, wife's new ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a gift for 21 years of putting up with me.

Try walking 5 dogs at the same time, with this little ball of piss and vinegar learning his place.......
