Two more hours until I'm allowed to go to sleep. Plan is sleep deprivation and drug reduction tonight to see if we can trigger an event. All I want to do is fucking sleep. My bills/Mint are basically done and I'm too tired to do any investment related stuff. I'm not allowed to walk around without a nurse, just in case I have a seizure, so I'm anchored to this fucking bed.

Speaking of sleep, I hit the sack early last night and slept in this morning. Hooray glorious 9.5 hours of sleep on a work night! Sorry, stoney.

Also, I had to be in work right at 8:00 for a two hour conference call that only took 30 minutes. And Cumberland Farms has free coffee on Fridays so I stopped and scored one of those on my way in. I gotta say this Friday is off to a good start. I don't trust it.....

Speaking of sleep
yes, speaking of sleep ....

I've been experimenting over the past 4-5 weeks, because science. My insomnia is highly caused by alcohol. I've gone dry for 5 nights and by night 3 I'm sleeping like a log. Have just a few beers in the evening and I'm restless and up all hours of the night. Another dry week, sleep great.

I still would like to enjoy a beer or whiskey but that is now the exception not the norm. Shit changes when you get old. Whattya gonna do.

In hell. Welcome!
Now that I have a properly sized steam boiler and not a oversized beast worthy a submarine duty, I have to carefully re-balance venting in our convectors. Fun.

So fucking tired. Looks like we're opening down almost 2% this morning; glad I'm not working.

Brought a neighbour's kid to school this morning. was my first time using a trail-a-bike. on a 1990s hardtail. good-goddam did those bikes ever have scary geometry. it's amazing how anyone stuck with mountainbiking if their first intro to it was on one of those. twitchy doesn't even begin to describe them!

it's a beauty morning out there though... cold, crisp and sunny. I think this is the last time we're going to see the sun for the next little while too.

Mornin!

After a cool 3.5 hours of sleep my mind decided enough was enough. Been up for quite a while now; guess it’s a good thing I don’t have a job?

Finally gonna shower again today, after a week. Come to find out, regular showers are a tough thing to find while on the road.

Good Morning!!

Almost called-in today with the Red Dead Redemption Flu. Too much work to do, though. Don't wanna adult.

It's full-on Forrest Gump raining out there. I saw Lt. Dan on top of an 18-wheeler headed West.

Hello all. @stoney looked far too comfortable this morning. The intern has apparently not donned the elbow gloves. There's still time yet.

It was called "responsive" handling, not "twitchy".

We rode tight, narrow, twisty singletrack on bikes with 71° head angles, fully rigid, toe clips and bars as narrow as 19".

Yup. Even lunch beers will ruin a nights sleep for me. :(

Turns out my room has a sweet view of Pike's Peak to enjoy. Novel.
It will wear off. How long till they release you? I should come up.
