Coffee and chores. Riding something somewhere today, maybe start tuning waaay too many pair of skis later.

Thai food for dinner, tom kha and pineapple fried ride. plenty of leftovers too. No drinks = slept well.

Rain and cold here today too so I picked up my race number for tomorrow, bought a microwave and been cleaning up and fixing stuff around the house. Something nice about the simplicity of cleaning after a hectic week at work.

Hello monkeys! Its a bit chilly this morning but will warm up enough to ride this afternoon. Researching my irrational urge to get a Surly Big Fat Dummy for an adventure bike as I plan to start bicycle touring next year... the more sane option is a Salsa Fargo; it has braze-ons for 7 water bottles.

Mornin!

Made it into Wisconsin last night after having dinner with a friend while passing through Minneapolis.

Minnesota, as a whole, smells like burning turds.

One more night for me. Hopefully we can get a seizure while not sleeping, but one of my active day ones.

'Morning. I rode the bike trainer for an hour today. :hmm: We'd be looking at a foot of snow if it was winter. The rain is dumping, but I am still grilling these filet mignon burgers I bought.

I had zero expectations for today. rain or snow was supposed to start falling. my oldest had "camp skills day" with cubs all day. I did the drive out this morning, and another family is doing the return portion.

I somehow managed to get a free pass for riding after my wife got back from her run. No one else could go on such short notice, so it was solo. I felt good, so I kept adding distance to my planned loop. Wound up riding 31km, climbed 700m, and did lots of fun descents. Pretty sure it was my biggest day this year. and good training for my riding trip to Ecuador in 2 weeks. I am very stoked this ride happened!

and now my wife is making chili. I like her chili. a lot. mmmmm chili!

if the rest of the weekend goes to shit, I won't even care!

You just reminded me it's chili season. Now, which one to start with...

In a van.... down by the river
Red Mt is a hootenanny - and a pretty easy shuttle to boot. Did it twice so everyone would get a turn.

Red Fleet shit is fun too. Did lower J-Boy, Cabin thing over to Jumps and Ladders. We shuttled J&L 4 times.

Tacos now....

Bored out of my gourd. Being released tomorrow morning. Getting put onto a small doseage of a massively strong anti-seizure drug to kill anything that might be lingering still.
