No wonder my buddies flying through Pearson were delayed. Nothing brings Toronto to a grinding halt like a dusting of snow.

I'm comfortably ensconced in a leather chair at a Starbucks in Dulles. Other buddies are in the frequent flyer lounge in Boston. I think they're doing it better: free beer, free potatoes, couches, chaises lounges. That said, Terminal A here ain't too bad. Modern, clean, and quiet (for now).

I hope the Toronto boys make it.

So I was out on a run last night on a not well used single track trail, when from no where, I feel like I got punched in the back of the head by scissors. I look around for a branch or something, and nothing. There is no where for people to hide. I think, “huh...” and start running again. 20ish paves later.... it happened again! Only this time the fucker snagged my pony tail holder and I looked up in time to see an owl swoop back up into the nearest tree and stare me down. I had no clue what to do so O called Buffalo to google while I kept my eye on it. It came after me a couple other times but didn’t hit me again. I used a large branch as a shield and walked backwards out of the area. That fucker followed me for a loooong ways before I could turn around. I had NO clue this was a thing!! The talons did pierce the skin, and it scratched up my head and neck so it feels like burning still, and my neck and head hurt today. Doc says I need tetanus shots and that my little wounds will most likely get infected. What. The. Fuck. Dudes.

Be owl aware!

It’s starting to get a wee bit cold out there for camper life.
I need to head into the camper thread to remind myself what your current rig is. Wife and I are hunting for a truck and camper.
Saturday I'm doing a mountain bike brewpub crawl... connecting two Golden area breweries via ~25 miles and several thousand vert worth of singletrack.
What is this planned devilry and is it open to additional participants?

You know when you talk to somebody and they are walking towards a cliff refusing to listen to anything you're saying, even when you're pointing at the cliff? Yeah. I just had that conversation. It was awesome. God speed.

Ended up with a crew cab and an 8’ bed along with a Lance 9’6”. Decent size, though if it was just the two of us we could get away with something smaller.

Bowel gas concentrations might rise to untenable levels in something smaller even if were just the two of you

Good Morning!!

It's a rainy, gray day out there....slow blues music is playing in my head movies. I had 3 installs on windows that were under tiny awnings at exterior doors, and it was pouring buckets. Stepped in a puddle....got my sock wet..graphics were being difficult to release from the liner...probably should leave work early and maybe start into the margaritas - might take my mind off this wet sock.

Just smile and say, "hope you like your new phone."

Cause let's face it - you're off the hook at this point.

I think he's been married long enough that this should *not* be the case.

In fact, he should warm up the good old, "i'm not saying that I told you so... but I told you so. "
i’ve been married long enough...and had enough to drink today...to know that biting my tongue and smiling sympathetically is the best course of action.

The two guys who were "helping" to lay in conduit to the shed yesterday were bumbling fuck-knuckles. Nevertheless, we got most of the conduit in place and departed and I went out and got 50' of AWG 7 bare stranded Cu and laid it alongside the conduit as a grounding conductor. Today I got the bits to make up to the pedestal; there was no knockout for 2" conduit, so some hole saw work, being cautious not to saw through any conductors. All made up with the expansion coupling right on the halfway mark and the ground wire connected.

We hopefully get footing drains and backfill done early next week, then it waits until spring when we pour the slab and erect framing.

I hope not, the nurses line just said it had to be done today. Found out I can get it at the local pharmacy rather than having to go to urgent care as they suggested, so that is a win!

This shed seems excessive. How big exactly is your bong?
