'Morning. Winter indeed. I hit the track for a COLD run early this morning. Temps in the teens...my nose got cold. My cheap Costco gloves are rock stars though.

Sadly, I think winter has arrived.
Fat bike is loaded up for tonights group ride. Apparently it has dumped snow up north.....we'll see how far we get. Already regretting not swapping to flat pedals so that I can use my winter hiking boots.

Just a shifter, Archer D1x. Allows for per-cog calibration, eliminates brand lock-in regarding pull ratios, cassette pitch, hub type or whatever.

The waters are high....I repeat, the waters are high. More rain on the way. I had to change out the thermostat in my car last night - in the pouring rain, with a tarp draped over the front of the car. Some real redneck engineering. I got done, and came out of the tarp looking like Andy Dufresne at the end of "The Shawshank Redemption"
