Ive seen the circus of the sun before but havent blue man. So id choose blue man myself. The circus can be a strip show if you imagine everyone naked.

blue man is great once. It doesn't hold up. CdS is really a lot of fun, but less involving, for sure. It's an amazing show, but blue man is just more "fun".

For my 5yo, I'd choose CdS, but that's because I think she'd appreciate the gymnastics.

Seeing both (Blue Man when they were at the Venetian, and the Elvis Cirque), I'd lean towards B.M. Sure, the quality of the Cirque show wasn't there for me, and there are a lot of better shows for them. Blue Man had the treat of being able to take an after-show photo with them in their lobby, if you don't mind the wait.

I'd still like to see Cirque One with the missus, so there is hope yet.......

have seen both.
BMG is cleaver, weird and has a musical element.
CdS is stunts and very psychedelic & pretty cool.
both are entertaining. with that being said I never had to pay for shows when I lived in Vegas.
Eat in china town & go to the erotic heritage museum.

We have eaten at LV Chinatown before, it was good...but we are going to S.F. Chinatown, which is better. Staying in Boulder City, so we will probably eat in Henderson (I know a great Thai joint). We will likely avoid the strip altogether, (except for one show) riding in Bootleg and Blue Diamond.

Love those trails at BD.
If you are looking for a great desert hike, you can hike Windy Peak that over looks Blue Diamond. Bad ass desert hike with a peak that has stellar views of the whole valley.

cool story bro:

A number of years ago I bought tickets to see Blue Man Group in Boston. Took my now-wife into the city for a date night. We went for a nice dinner before the show, but something decided it was going to shoot through my intestines for the rest of the evening. So, I spent half the show in the men's room with an awful case of the shits, and the other half of the show I was in my seat thinking about how bad I had to take a dump. At one point now-wife had to come into the men's room to make sure I was ok. I was alive, but I was in misery. It had to be some kind of food poisoning. So now whenever I have to take a crap that is that bad, I just say I have to "Blue Man." It's not a term I throw around lightly, because that means terrible emergency dump coming on right now.

I saw another Blue man show last year and got through it with no bathroom interruptions. I have also seen Cirque de Soliel (the Ka show in Vegas). I vote Blue Man. Apparently there was a story going on in the Cirque show, but all I saw was the visual performance. I don't really have a trained eye for interpretive dance.

I turned Blue during my Heart Attack. Why are they Blue? They made Babs sick somehow, I just know it? There is something not right with those Blue Fuckers. I just know it. If your kid starts wearing Blue Paint in his late teens. You will have nobody to blame but yourself.

Yeah someone told me "it was a great story!", I was like "WTF you talking about? There was no story!"

seen both around 5-6 times each and id definitely say go see a Cirque show. BMG is a fun show but its nothing compared to the type of show any Cirque show puts on.
if you want an adult-type show, my brother's show Absinthe is awesome
