We picked her up hitchhiking once in Quebec...she was baked, and insisted on speaking with me in (bad) french until she figured out that we were from the states. We smoked, and laughed. She proceeded to dominate at either Tremblant or Bromont the next day, I don't remember which one...

Last time I saw her was down at Snowshoe, was on the lift and saw some skinny dude w/ long black hair flying out of his helmet and an open flannel cutting across the slope...(flying). Realized it was her at the lift later that day, legend.
This was probably 14' ish.
Any time i see people with gauges like that dude has in his ear, i just want to try to shoot something through it.

I spent a few hours with Missy over the weekend- all things considered she is in a great place right now and is fired up to start shooting video parts. Casey Brown better watch out at those whip-off's, is the message I picked up.

No i quit doing Spooky stuff 4 years ago. Someone licensed the brand, and sold the brand, and now it's HQ is based out of Arizona in a high-end road bike store. They have FTW build bikes for them, so I'm obviously stoked for Frank, but I definitely like the Vynl frames FTW is building more, and I'm even more stoked that Frank has hooked up with Sick out of the UK to build some Gnarpoons and try to setup a beachhead for Sick in VT. Making and marketing bikes is fun, but my heart has always been in bike racing more than it's been in product.
What I do now:
I'm the non-Mullaly member of the Downhill Southeast event crew(taping, re-taping, announcing, officiating, taping some more) and I'm settled down in Roanoke, VA where I'm back to coaching athletes and promoting races of my own(Enduro, CX, XC, road, etc.). I also help out the Cane Creek crew with the slalom races at the Reeb Ranch and throw some dirt around on various trail building projects.
I had to get out of New England to some place with bigger mountains, markedly milder winters and a lower cost of living. Virginia's Blue Ridge is pretty perfect if you are a dirtbag bike rider with a desire to give back to the cycling community.

Gotcha I have not seen any FS bikes since his FTW bikes. Hopefully he can make a few of these a week. Have to wait and see....
i need to start saving some pesos so i can get one before he hangs up the torch; which hopefully won't be for a long time

At this point Frank is NOT accepting custom jobs or non-bike jobs, he's quite busy building production bikes.
Anyone who can handle small-medium sized production quantities of bikes in the USA is mighty busy these days.
Back to Missy,
It's a similar issue with "Professional Trailbuilders": everyone who can actually do it already has more jobs than they can handle. Personally I think it's pretty awesome that someone with 15 world cup dh wins and two world championships is hand shaping and test-riding trails. She's stoked as hell to do it too.
