Eggnog is made and aging in the fridge. Made a double batch because separating eggs is kind of a PITA. 2 dozen eggs and 6 cups of booze. Should provide some holiday hilarity if all goes well...

That was a nice saterday. Fixed some shit. Bought some shit. ate some sandwiches. Decorated the house. Kids are happy that i finally caved on elf on a shelf. Its so fucking stupid. Found a decent no sugar added / low carb ice cream recipe that I made for dessert tonight. Unsweetened cocoa is bitter, but when mixed with unsweetened coconut in heavy cream it carries just enough sweet - especially when you haven't eaten any sweets in over a month. I cannot wait for my appointment with the nutritionist at the end of January so I can confirm the rules around things like sugar alcohol and xylitol (fake sugar). They both replace sugar (yummy), but still make your body produce insulin, which apparently can fuck up the ketosis efficiency. I think I miss ice cream the most... That will be what gets me.
