Ben is a rad rider watch the whole video.
the "trail bike casing" thread had me contemplating/reconsidering whether I needed/wanted wider tires. Seeing this vid was like a slap in the face or cold bucket of water to wake up! Nope! I'll just get my suspension tuned/dialled, and I'll be on my merry way! thanks!

his WC coverage is the aspect most relevant to our collective interests
true dat. I'm really looking forward to his videos. I hope he's not too beholden to Santa Cruz though (as in, embedded in their team). I love how he dissects the line choices of a broad range of riders...

I’m stoked to support Ben and what he’s doing. I totally respect his full disclosure approach as an honest and authentic voice for mountain bikers in a world of lizardry. Can’t wait for the season to start

that said, if he has any insights on how the team is run, and what sets it apart from the rest, that would be pretty cool too.

kudos for doing that. actually, how about a simple "thank you". that's awesome.

The fact that he can keep a steady flow of coverage coming without financial ruin is a win for everyone.

Even if there’s a bit of a tinge of favouritism toward his sponsors, who cares??? If he mentions he’s riding a sweet new frame for his recon laps? I’d say that’s a fair price... I.e zero dollars to me. Didn’t Claudio do the same?

I don’t see how products will be the focus of his content anyway. I’m much more interested in the line choice analysis, event news, etc.. than how many teeth are in his hubs or what kind of tires he’s running. If it heads that way, fine, as long as it is in addition to the interesting stuff, and not instead of.

TAKE HEED!

Because of the finish, that looks a little bit less garage-built / homemade than the other Robot bikes.

It seems to me like weight savings and design are compromised for the sake of custom tube lengths and a faster time-to-market. Different is cool, though.

vital is killing it with their windrock coverage. it’s like a preseason WC out there. wish i didn’t have work crap this weekend. would have been awesome to either race or spectate.

Awesome ending....
Absolutely! And the dude on the YT (?). madness

Is it just me or is the back wheel on Gee's bike look like its flexing like crazy through the rough stuff? I watched it a few times and I can't tell if its an optical illusion or if the wheel/frame seems to run a fair bit of flex - intentional or otherwise? I might just be mistaken though.
