I like your big picture vision, how do I become a client?
My business is all retirement based. Near-term tax structure is not of my concern. This sucks for me though, but I should have asked our tax guy if we needed to make changes.

I have a size small dirt jumper... I got it the last time a skate/BMX park opened in my town. But that place didn't last 8 months. I made it there 3x times... This new place is so much smaller, but because of how close it is, I hope to go a lot more. I tried a BMX at the last place... They are really twitchy and don't carry as much speed as 26" wheels...
in some circumstances that's true, but generally not in a park. the smaller wheels fit in the ramp transitions better and once you learn to pump it, you can generate speed out the wazoo.

also, bmx bike are available with 22" wheels now, and there's always been 24" wheel bikes.

hmmm. maybe my kid's next bike will be a bmx?

I actually meant to say that it gave me a new found respect for the bike handling skills BMXers have. There's less room for error, and the speed and amplitude those guys get is ridiculous.

Maybe with a BMX I'd be able to play in the tiny bowl they have at the park?

Question for you since you seem pretty keen on BMX... my current trail helmet (a Leatt DBX 3.0) tends to creep down into my field of vision when I ride the park. I kinda want a pisspot-style helmet to try and blend in with the cool kids... do they restrict field of vision less? or is it more a question of individual helmet design? I kinda like the Kali Viva...

one of the reasons i started bmx (aside from the peer pressure that i got from the bmx riders that i worked with, note - i started bmx in college in Rochester and there is a very healthy bmx scene there, in part because that's where Kink bikes is HQ'd) is that it definitely improved my bike handling skills, and that certainly translates over to MTB. yea, it definitely felt squirrely at first, but if you spend time on it consistently, it goes away pretty quickly.

yea definitely get a skate style lid. the good news is if you look around they can be found rather inexpensive. (~$50 USD). they aren't as cool / ventilated, but they certainly stay in place better.

That's the reason i wanna try to get into it. My riding skills are good, but bike handling skills are pretty bad.
I also used to ride a lot of trials for the same reason. I still have my zoo! stock bike. My favorite thing riding bmx was riding pool. If I had one close to me I could ride routinely there's a very realistic chance I'd stop mountain biking.

I really hate being the one to discover that your frame is cracked. I play it along and try to get somebody else to discover the crack so I don't have to be the one to call it out. There is always that friend who relishes in this task. YOU, You, you cracked your Frame! YES, Yes, yes YOU, You, you cracked your rare Jamis Dragon frame... Irreplaceable ON, On, on every level...

i wish i had bought my brothers diesel 6 speed wagon.....how many miles on the wifes ozone killer?

It was one of the defeat TDI's that VW was never allowed to sell until last year when the EPA and California Air Resources Board approved VWs fix. We got it last year with 60 miles on the odometer for the trade in of our recalled 2011 Jetta TDI with 98,000 miles on the odometer and $4000 cash. It now has just over 10,000 miles on it

No fixing will be happening. Its done... I pulled out the King headset by hand. Sweat my friend does bad things to steel bikes... The Old UN-72BB is the only structure keeping the Bottom bracket together. Nasty...
