My experience with it:

My mom has awful arthritis....awful. Went with her to pain doctor, and he was talking about morphine doses, and crazy sh*t like that. Asked mom if she would be open to trying one option before we went down that road. I got some CBD and she would add it to her honey and take it that way....results were meh. Switched to the THC/CBD concentrate and went to capsule form with super small doses so she wouldn't be stoned. Her arthritis started subsiding to the point at which she could start getting active again. Once she was able to incorporate more exercise, we dropped the dose down to once a week, and she's been doing pretty good.

Certainly she could have taken other meds for inflammation, and has...but none were working as well as this. It's not a miracle cure, or anything like that, but for some people, it fits perfectly with their body chemistry. We do the same thing for our dog for years - who is 15, except we use coconut oil with CBD concentrate mixed in. It keeps the hips working well, and he's very active for a 15 yr old border collie.

will it make me ride more, will it make me ride better, should i save it for the hard ride mental blips or use it regularly for the lifting sensation of no stress from others? I have been told it is not a drug anymore than coffee or nicotine. I want to experiment with cbd, though I don't know where I am expecting results, and fear if I gain results I loose results as well. I had been doing the super sober, no caffeine, nicotine, life a few years. Recently began using caffeine to add a jolt. It really opens up the legs when riding. Will CBD amplify this? I think not. I will try to get my hands on a bottle from a weed guy I know but, it is expensive. I've yet to find anything to unravel stress other than riding a bicycle, I find it best to hold onto stress and remember I have a bike for later. Unwinding with the bike is fine, though if I felt pain from riding that was unusual and not related to normal muscle fatigue I could use it for joints (the funny bone connectors) ..... dunno it seems like snake oils to me, but snakes make me feel good too. :monkey:

Or you could stay away from all of it and not go down the hole again...

Does anyone have experience with THC/CBD treatment for migraines? My Gf's mom get awful migraines frequently and all the regular meds only show limited effects. She's been trying to get a prescription for medical weed, but we are way behind the US in that department, so it looks like i'll have some decarboxylating to do if she wants to go that route.

Didn't you just start a thread about living in Los Angeles? You don't need to "know a guy" anymore, you can go the to the mall.

Though I'm with JBP on this one. Someone with your history really should practice a chemical free life style.

I'm still not 100% sure if I will keep my job after my next DOT random drug screen. What I've read on the internet, and what my seller claims, is that a clean/pure CBD oil will not make me fail a drug test
So have you had a test yet?

High CBD edibles (1:1 CBD to THC) are my buddie's go to when he gets migraines. He will sometimes burn some flower for immediate relief but swears by the high CBD edibles. He's had migraines since he was a kid.

Probably not too helpful since you don't have a dispensary down the block.

No. It will be exciting when it happens though!

That's very helpful actually, the Netherlands are close by, so i can pick up some high CBD strain and do my own cooking.

That's not how I roll, plus that seems like an awful lot of effort. I'm either going to pass it honestly, or fail it honestly. And if I fail it, I know who I'm suing.
Document document document, bring a letter to your Dr and put it in your medical file, do whatever you can to document why you are doing this. Save all receipts. Even write down the name of who bought from. It'll make suing much easier. Also, when you do get randomly tested, be sure to state that you use this and write it down on the paper, even if they say "you can't do that!" (watch me!).

I wonder which dangerous side effects they are referring to ?

One of my Gout meds had very similar side effects to a heart attack. Yeah, near death like side effects. Which I got to experience...while riding. Not fun.
TV drug ads always amuse me. The side effects often sound worse than the actual issue. One of the latest ones warns you'll be constipated and have diahrea - literally shitting bricks??

bump... my wife has been diagnosed with 2 double herniations from her car accident (back & neck). she's seeing a doctor for it, and he referred her for a medical card (now that our state allows medical). she's curious to try it. getting the card runs a few hundo in our state, so she's discussing trying something that's only CBD to see if it even provides her any relief. my LBS just started carrying Floyd's of Leadville last week, so my line of thought is that'd probably be the best option to try to see if it even helps, before dropping the $ on the rx card. anyone have direct experience with this particular brand? if so, which particular products / doses

I have the Floyd's not sure what I think, I feel my wallet is lighter.

I guess I just am having a problem believing all the Doobie less claims.
