There's a review on Singletrack - https://singletrackworld.com/2019/03/review-judgement-day-trust-message-multi-link-suspension-fork/. You have to get a free login to view it. Spoiler alert - it's not good.

"Preloading with your body weight, it seems to taketh the energy… and not giveth back. This was confirmed by several other testers. Because of all this, pump sections could feel pretty good, but the rollers and tabletops were harder work than usual, nose heavy and not so playful. "

"At Trust’s own recommended settings, flying down a knobbly grass trail on a steep Welsh mountainside, my ulnar nerves felt like they were being liquefied. "

"From fire roads to minus thirty percent grade plummets, the Trust Message seems to do almost nothing to filter out high frequency noise. The vibrations felt like an ultrasonic meat tenderiser. "

Will they send a trusted team of suspension setup engineers over to Wales to deliver the message of proper fork setup?

"The vibrations felt like an ultrasonic meat tenderiser."

This is exactly how you want your fork to feel right?

If your product release comes out of the gate, leaning so heavy on a catch phrase or mantra, it's almost like asking for it to have an issue. It's kinda silly. So far it seems to have set the tone for responding to critical reviews as well. Self fulfilling you could say.

I still think we are all going to be made a fool w/ this. Once they release the mass market version and a DH fork, things will slowly change...this was the halo...You don't employ 20+ people for a $2700 fork which only had 2,500 initial allocations, you have a much larger operation going on. This was marketing, and we are playing into it. Just playing devils advocate here and keeping an open mind.

Well not if their halo doesn't work worth a shit. Their halo should be blowing people's minds. Reviews should be coming back where the reviewer says "I ain't giving it back, they can come pry it from my cold dead hands" if they expect this thing to blow up for them.

I'm really surprised reading some of these somewhat negative reviews. After about 30 minutes of riding the fork I kind of got it and once I adjusted my riding a tad (give the fork a line to ride and let it do it's job) I was genuinely impressed. The price is another thing altogether, but I thought it rode pretty darn well.

Is it a surprise that a fork with a non adjustable damper, less conventional air spring and manufacturer described compatibility for almost anything on two wheels may not work for some people?

My avalanche yari rides pretty amazing, costs about a third of the price. For the the amount of a Trust Fund, the Trust Co™ fork better not just ride pretty darn well, as stated above it should be a "pry this out of my cold dead hands if you dare" feeling, which is how I basically feel about my tuned rear coil and the front suspension (the tuned air shock I have is ok, better than stock, but nowhere near the yarilanche/tuned RC4). If it's that for you, then cool, but I think a lot of the skepticism comes from the entry fee, which means that those that pony up the funds may get emotionally invested and may be rationalizing some of the behaviors. The anti-dive is cool, but it has to be the total package, not a gimmick, so the fork needs to work under all conditions, gobble up bumps, resist hard g-out nose-landings, and do all the other stuff we expect suspension to do. The "glued to the trail" feeling is great, my fork does that and seems to hook up amazing on rough off-camber stuff, I think a lot of that comes from much higher low-speed rebound and compression that are typically impossible to tune with most OEM dampers without harsh break-your-wrists feeling due to the over-damped HSC. The point is the damping and the air spring all have to be the "real deal" and it's hard to put the "trust" in a few reviews and possibly even harder to trust a few riders that will have problems turning around and calling something they spent $2700 on a waste. I know, I've been there, spent a lot of money on something that turned out to be lackluster, and maybe that's not the case here, but the point is the trust :)

And don't Trust Dave Mustaine either, he's one crazy mofo. Like chem-trails crazy.

For 2700.00 they should be offering nothing less than full custom tuning for each individual.
And even at that they are taking the piss.

Couldn’t agree more and if I had paid for one my opinion would obviously be biased. I didn’t buy it though, I just rode it. Maybe the guys giving it neg reviews just didn’t jive with it for one reason or another. That’s fair, maybe it’s not for everyone. It’s just very interesting to me that their experience was so different than mine. I’m not saying that it transformed my riding experience or anything. It's just that I had a positive experience with it which led me to the conclusion that the design might have some real merit. It’s just a shame there are not more opportunities for people to try it out. Try and reserve judgement until there’s some first hand experience.

During my ride time I didn't think at all about the non-adjustable damper, non-conventional air spring(s), or manufacturer described compatibility.

Sounds like people are indeed saying "I get cold, dead hands with this. I can't pry it out"!

Kind of what one should expect from a fork with a mostly rearward initial path over small bumps that require vertical travel.

It is a feature, not a problem. A few curb smashes should remind people what it is designed to do.

Maybe it's a terrain thing. Based on the design it should work well in rock gardens but would probably suffer on high speed breaking bumps or other small high interval impacts.

What kind of trails did you ride?
