Uggh that is really sad. Wonder if she had other concussions besides the one they mentioned?

Depression is a scary thing to live with. This girl had the world in her hands and couldn't find something to keep living for.
Be kind to people. As Ken said you don't know what's going on in someone's head. RIP

i've known a number of people who seemed like they have everything going for them, but it was meaningless to them. a couple of them were going all the way back to middle/high school. always pushed by their parents to go above/beyond, but they weren't doing it for themselves. they found themselves in positions where they weren't passionate about what they were doing, and were just going through the motions to appease somebody other than themselves.

After having a bout of neuropathic pain recently, I can see how that could drive someone over the edge. The body has an amazing ability to repair itself, but that’s not a certainty for every condition and person. The pain was like someone jabbing me with an icepick and I couldn’t sleep for a few weeks straiht, I can only imagine what this can do in more acutely cases or those that don’t go away/can’t be controlled. I had to use opioids to sleep at one point.
