Just looked at what it will cost to get my partial build from RedBarn in Montanna home to me in Canukistan.
If I put in that I bought it at a price of 5k US$ then they will ship it for the low low price of 10, 862.95.
If I put in that I bought it for 500 US$, then the price is 1277.95.
If I put in that it is a move/relocation or an event then the price is 312.95

Holy hell, who are you shipping with? I just sent a frame and parts from NY to WA and it was $110, which I thought was crazy. That was UPS and FedEx rate. USPS was double that. Apparently even though it only weighed 17 lbs the " minimum" weight for a standard size bike box is 48 lbs to ship. Is it the insurance driving the cost? I bumped mine up to $1,000 and it was only $10 more.

What the hell?? I've shipped frames to Canadia (from Indiana) with bike flights for about $150.
maybe their deal with fedex is changing. But still. I shipped a complete bike from Germany to the US with DHL for $600
