Also, Jesus is the fucking President* a goddamned moron.

Some roofer left the tar machine on during lunch.
A) Not that we need the daily reminder, but “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”

B) You’ve got to be shitting me. It’s survived hundreds of years only to be brought down by a careless roofer?

Sitting at the walk-in at the sports medicine clinic at one of the local universities. Hoping to find out if I can ride with my fuxxored elbow. I hope to the FSM they say give it a little more time ,it'll get better on it's own...

Meh. Wife is out of town for two days, so it's daddy daycare. Getting two little kids ready in the morning is hell. At least my older one is semi-sufficient. I only had to hear him whine for like 5 minutes that mom normally puts clothes out for him in the morning. You know where your dresser is you little punk, I still have to make sure your brother doesn't leave the house looking like Pigpen.

You need to nip this in the bud.

:D
Trust me, I find all the idiosyncrasies when I take the kids to school. My wife is a great mom, but her and I are definitely on different sides of the spectrum when it comes to catering to the kids and they know it.

That's actually not been a problem. Not to say it won't, but the oldest is excellent about the bathroom. Youngest is still in diapers at almost three. So there's that. I'm seriously not going to miss most of life with kids under about 4. My older one is 5 and he's awesome. Can talk, tell you what he wants, follows directions for the most part. I can't wait for my younger one to talk more clearly and shit in the toilet.

My 6 year old just wants to read by herself on the Kindle. All the time. The 1-day-from-4-year-old is still at the perfect age: coherent, potty trained, and still super snuggly.

Yea, as far as kids go, 4-5 is pretty damn awesome. It will probably go down as my favorite stage I think.

Summer arrived the same time I hit the mile 17-21 hills, and at that point it was just FTS survival mode. I hung in there though and passed shitloads of people the last 10K. I also requalified for next year. Overall a very solid race on a tough day. I must have dumped a gallon of water on myself during the race.

Pro tip, gasoline has better evaporative cooling properties than water.

Have a Nissan Sentra as a loaner car while mine is getting repaired from a jackass backing into me.

Holy crap the Sentra is a piece of shit. The brakes and steering are so vague and inconsistent it is actually scary to drive. How can a new car be so bad?

french toast is the only thing i eat at that god forsaken place.
potato caserole is alright & the fact you can get a solid breakfast (their biscuits suck) and add a decently fried filet of catfish is the only reason I can tolerate it
