Up early to drive to the opposite side of Denver metro for a meeting. No issues since leaving the ER last night, but I'm not looking fwd for the beast to start passing. I do have a lingering headache for no apparent reason, which I'm assuming is from the fentanyl come down.

Mornin!

1. I knew California has a homelessness problem but had no idea it was this bad. The entire test area in Vallejo was packed with people, clearly not travelers either, sleeping in their cars.

2. For the first time in my adult life I traded in a cell phone before running it into the ground. Goodbye iPhone X, hello Samsung Galaxy. The iPhone was by far and away the worst phone I have ever laid hands on.

Now off to the vet so pirate dog can get her stitches out then it's time for some wine.

I'm up, getting ready for a bear hunt..... more likely finding sheds...... but will be a fun day either way
I know you eat your kills. But I'd always been led to believe bear meat is not very good. or does it depend on how you prepare it?

I just did my second workout of my own making today. 20 minutes with the kettlebells, dumbells and elastics in the exercise room in my building. It really brings the pain. I hope I'm not wasting my time. I'm kind of hoping that any exercise is better than no exercise. It builds on exercises my physiotherapists have recommended over the years. My elbow and shoulder seem to do better when I do this, so I'll keep doing it as long as it keeps me riding...

otherwise, it's rainy and gross here. water levels are rising again. everyone is worried about a repeat of the floods in 2017. Governments are saying "that's it, this is the last time we bail people out whose houses are built in a floodplain". I think there's a buy-out/relocation program in place too.

Hello all. Today should be pretty chill at work. What's more, the sun emerged the last few days, too.

Which flavor did you get, and how do you like it? Been a big fan of my note 8, wouldn't mind a smaller s10 tho.

Got the S10. Skipped the e model cause I liked the better camera, but didn't want the largee size of the plus.

So far so good! I dig the size and the fact that it actually works and gets decent cell reception. I'm not a very demanding user, so I can't forsee any issues...

I got the "wow, I wasn't expecting a suit" comment at a meeting today. Not even wearing a tie... Guess I get to move to slacks and a sport coat quicker than I expected.

Isn't your risk of getting fucked up worms from bears ridiculously high?

Did some electrical wiring in shop, feed to grinder, drill press, and one light.

Saw primary care physician; she says I ain't about to cack in the predictable future.

Worked with contractor A installing railway in stairway to second floor. Neither of us wound up injured.

Conferred with contractor B on going forward with shed build that was interrupted by weather.

It's beer thirty.

Like any wild meat preparation, starting right at the harvest, all the way through cutting and packaging, to cooking makes all the difference....... bear is a fatty/greasy meat so prepare accordingly.

Also..... donuts cooked in rendered bear fat...... fucking amazing.....

Also..... hike far away from civilization to make sure you don't get a bear that likes to raid trashcans...
Isn't your risk of getting fucked up worms from bears ridiculously high?
Trichinosis, not worms....... once you harvest you take a chunk of meat in for testing.... if its positive it's still safe, just has to be cooked well done.....

In the long run, bear hunts just get me outside more, and on more hikes
