What’s up! Hope this is the right thread. Like title states looking for a dh athlete near me.

I’m a photographer / cinematographer and I work with my friend Jimmy Shea who is an Emmy award winning short film maker.

We work for All Hands Magazine (The US Navy’s official magazine)

We live in Maryland and are looking for a story lead within driving distance.

We’d like to do something between a downhill edit mixed with a documentary backstory style piece on a rider with a unique story.

This is just a personal project for the love of it, we’re simply wondering if you had any subjects in mind within driving distance of us who’s story needs to be told.

If you’ve heard of any cool characters out our way please let me know!

Also feel free to hit me up for more details.

Thank you

- Tyler

One option would be Neko Mulally for sure. He is a full time World Cup DH racer who also turned Windrock into a legit bike park capable of hosting national level events. Some people give a lot back to the sport after their career is over and Neko is doing both at the same time. Racer, bike park owner and event promoter as well. Plus, he is a good dude as well.

Isn't the Marine Corps just the Navy's Army anyway?

Depending on what exactly you're attempting to do Nekko's brother is pretty fast too, and as far as I know isn't racing world cups so his schedule might be a little more open.

lotta fast pro/elite people out in brevard area right now that hang with neko and crew - max morgan, for example . . . the shaw brothers also live there now. there's also evan st. clair, a world cup level junior rider who's from the charlotte area. we also have people who are semi-retired but race at high levels in everything from bmx to dh, like Will Murray.

Came out of nowhere, From riding his first mountain bike to World cup podiums and a full factory ride in a few short years.
Meteoric rise thats really only been done by Gwin and Palmer.
Super humble and an easy guy to root for.
