I sold it to a former neighbor (both he and I moved since we were neighbors), a dentist, no less. I do miss it sometimes but the 3 is fun.
I kiiiinda did that the first month I had the car. They're the shitty lusso rims so they will eventually get replaced but yeah oops. car is wider than my rav4.

Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo, never imported to the US but now legal after 25y. Not the most expensive car, but an extremely rare collector car. Sorry for the shit pic, I took it while driving after passing by it once. I've seen it out on the road as well. My alfa is arguably faster, but it'll never be as cool.
The Lotus is certainly rare and maybe not super expensive ($55k) but it's still my favorite car on the road.
Maybe I should snap a pic of the lamborghina Urus I pass every day?
Theres a few of those around here too. I just question why every time I see them.....
And besides the sound and the obnoxious front end on it, it might as well be an Audi Q8.

i wouldn't say they're that rare, depending on the region. when I lived in LA i would see a couple a week. A guy I worked with had one, full size grown ups like us aren't really compatible with that car.
I've only seen a couple of Exiges in my life. Elises are far more plentiful, and run $20k cheaper. The Exige is more powerful and track oriented, and much more beautiful (IMO). One in orange with black wheels is somewhere in my dream garage.

I'd briefly toyed with the idea of an Elise years ago when the settlement check from my accident came in. Unfortunately/fortunately common sense and my wife won out in the end. Perhaps one day, should I happen to somehow win the lottery I dont play.
if i was going to get a fun car, it wouldn't be that. we're about the same height IIRC (i'm about 6'1"). i sat in one once (again, guy i used to work with owned one), it was not exactly a fun experience, i don't think i could handle being inside one, let along driving for more than say, 20-30 minutes at a shot. it's just cramped.

the exige was pretty brutalist inside. sparco race seats covered in alcantara and an aluminum floor etc. This one had a radio though, which is nice.
