Trip to the recycling center and carwash - I am way ahead today.

Might have gone a little too full throttle on the margaritas, beer, and tacos last night. Ugh my head.
Stayed up late to watch SNL. Paying for it now.
Adam Sandler was quite funny on SNL.

what a crappy night. my right leg and hip are giving me fits from 6 weeks on crutches. Last night they said FU and when into lactic acid cramps all night and are still sore this morning. two more days left in this effing cast

their middle school isn’t in an official league since they let some of the 5th and 6th graders run, so i think they do local “open” races for their meets.
Currently sitting outside of the ski shop to drop off Haley's rentals. A really old guy (jbp timeline) in a new Audi A8L with handi tags just pulled up in front of the store and parked immediately in front of the door. Not the handi spots 15' away, in the fire lane blocking the handi ramp. Got out and is now sitting on a bench in front of the door. Different level of rich old guy arrogance there. He was definitely struggling to walk, so I get wanting to park close, but that's ridiculous. Also, the idea that you can barely walk but fully drive is terrifying.
Which means that he probably doesn't have the leg strength to forcefully apply the brakes in an emergency situation. That's why my dad gave up his lic in his early 80s. he saw the wreck happen in front of him, got on the brakes but wasn't strong enough to stop the car short of impact.
Another week of minimal mobility. Groin pull right where I had a hernia repair. Waiting for imaging results and crossing my fingers.
not to be a dick....but i imagine brake technology has improved quite a bit since your dad was in his 80's....
is he not well into his late 90's with a full head of hair...

I used to give away tires with more tread than that.
I still do.
That being said, I am currently riding a DHR with less tread than that, it has been an experiment in whether it competes with a minion SS in lack of rolling resistance while still having side knobs.
