Up early having coffee.
The rain and snow should clear and if we're lucky trails will dry soon.

Whatcha got this weekend?
8+" of snow up here will make it soggy on the trails through this weekend :(

Morning Monkeys.

FTS Friday, woot! Ditching out early to do some work on the escape pod. Saturday I have to stop for like 6 hours for FIL birthday. We aren't taking the truck down due to the wife wanting to make the visit as short as possible.

It's damn hot here. A bike ride with pooch is in order. Is it too early to start drinking?

Last day of work before 10 days of bikes, beers, camping and driving around. Starting it off spending the weekend at the girlfriend's parents cottage up north.

Going to ride some rox and tech tomorrow. Did this same ride last year before going away to Pennsylvannia and the rear hub on my bike broke. That was fun getting a replacement in time before the trip. Praying we don't have a repeat this year...

Planning on riding with the boys tomorrow morning at BPW. Then... I dunno... maybe eat food and drink beer the rest of the weekend?

arrived last night at the show grounds in the camper. Doing the EMT gig. Went to make coffee. Mother effer my wifes GF used my travel mug to make some disgusting protein shake on their last trip and did not clean it out. Liquid with brown fuzz growing was still in the mug :butcher::butcher::panic::panic::thumbsdown:

it took me 15 minutes to lean that shit out. Then finally a triple espresso, with bacon and eggs to start my day

You missed some technical climbs. :busted: Great looking trail, love riding on rock spines.

Friday. Last weekday of solo parenting. It's been a pretty smooth week all things considered. I managed to have the kids fed and prepped for bed by 6:30 last night, so we watched a few episodes of Smarter every day on youtube. What a good channel. Kids liked it too, which surprised me somewhat. Especially the 6 year old.

Somehow, despite the kids being asleep early, I couldn't get to sleep before might night. :shakefist:Luckily, a quick visit to the shed took care of that in short order.

I'm going to try and take the boys biking tomorrow, to keep them distracted before their mom gets home on Sunday morning.

It's drizzly and gross here today. still wore my jeans to ride in, caus' I'm friggin sick of rain pants and technical gear. eff that noise.

maybe I'll have another coffee. I'm dragging ass this morning, and evidently droning on.

time to fix that.

Oops, caught in the act! :busted: Yeah some of the stuff in there is super tight and almost like trials riding to get up. There are two trails at that place that are guaranteed to give a few new scratches on your bike..sure aren't afraid of the tech.

Them roots tho

@canadmos did you ever got around to ride Sentiers des Moulins in Beauport, Qc?
Sadly no. We spent 3 days in VBN last August (doing Neilson in 40+ degree heat :help:) and then went to Bromont area. Its definitely on the list... We might go there if we can swing a weekend trip out to watch the World Championships. The riding looks crazy in there.

Did you show them the episode of that guy trying to learn to ride the bike with the backwards steering?

It's the shitz indeed! They have started work on a all new sector with a trail called Wolverine. I too have to make it down there this summer.

Good Morning!!

Just got back from installing some graphics for offices at a Ford dealership.....evidentially, they had an enormous amount of free time with not selling cars, because I turn around, and all 8 salespeople are standing there watching me work - and they would collectively move down to each office I was working in as I finished, offering up comments and salesmen jokes.....I put that sh*t in overdrive and got out as fast as possible. Buncha weirdos.
