Might as well face it, you're addicted to SPDs

Anybody have a set of SPD pedals hanging around in their parts pin? I believe that I sold out of all of my traditional ones (ie two sided XC pedals). I have a set of 636 DH pedals, but don't want to deal with the weight on any of my bikes.

I need a two sided pair or a platform/single side like a touring setup....times two (one spin bike and one commuter).

Yeah I have a couple pairs of M530s in good working order that I'm never going to use. And maybe a pair of XT trails.

uh, I could use the candy pedals on the spin bike as I have a separate set of shoes, but everything else I own is SPD and I don't really want to change.

@HAB how much do you want? I don't want to pay a lot since these are beaters....

For the 530s I'd be happy if you covered shipping and enough to buy a 6 pack to make it worth bothering to ship them

If you need another set on top of HAB's offer I think I've a pair of 540's (and probably a set of XT's too)

Dibs!

Oh wait... I have a box of these Bad Larry's and I have finally stopped putting them on my trail bikes... but also are they in decent shape? Because damn.

I might be intredasted, the XT trails on my trail bike are pretty roached... would be good to have a backup set. Or a set for Elwood, or Lorax. Fack.

Be thankful if you never had to use Onza clipless pedals. You had to change the rubber grommets to adjust the tension.

I had those and they caused me to fall into a thorn bush near Kirkwood. There is nothing good about them.

Whoa onza pedals! Has those too, they were terrifying, in part because they were susceptible to temperature changes.

Cold snap? Sorry, you're not getting out of your pedals today. Heat wave? Sorry, no retention for you today.

if you want em, I'll return the favor for the cost of shipping plus beer. I have never used them, I can't remember which bike they came with. They are well used but appear functional.

@StiHacka I'll take you up on those platform setups. Can you snap a shot for me? They might be perfect for the spin bike.

Let me think about those 530s @HAB. Got a photo? I suppose I should receive the bike first to see what it comes with, but probably platforms.

Not handy, hauling myself down to the basement on crutches sucks. They look like black M530s. One pair has some scuffs, the other pair has fewer scuffs but they're both in good shape functionally.

I'll take em bro, pm me your PayPal and what it will take to move them. I'd gladly buy you a sixer but you're too far for a hand off

Some guy advertised like 3 years ago on the local buy and sell a pair of used XT pedals for $20. I gobbled those right up, been rocking them all the time since. How these pedals can keep going when other stuff jams or dies completely is pretty impressive. Their brakes may suck, but they know how to do pedals.

That's one thing that impresses me about Shimano, their pedals are virtually indestructible.

Indeed. Been running platform XT since they where introduced. Replacing my old DX. All I ever needed to do is repacking some grease.
