are you too old for Google?
What the FUCK is that??

Definitely too old to know what that is.

And, for the record, I'm really fucking glad. Becuase that seems even MORE retarded than the normal retarded stuff in the world today. :disgust1:

Got up early to go fall off my bike before work a few times in the rainy woods. It was a slippy one out there today...where it wasn’t super grippy. I think my tires are just toast.

Mornin!

Another traveling couple we've been hanging out with threw in the towel on traveling. After only 6 months. Having only driven to Florida, across the Gulf Coast and over to the West Coast. All because they wanted to move back home, get jobs, and buy a house. In Indiana. :fie:

So Jurb Stuff. Last 2.5 weeks have been overwhelming since of course the last movie market I will be working on has to be the most work intensive in history. 30+ scripts appraised since early may while I have to do other shit too. Funny thing is they still haven't hired for my spot so they are screwed. Wonder if they realize.

On the bright side new yurb sent me an email and it seems I will be working for an awesome company. Good work trips with training and meeting people instead of isolating workers. Work integrating trips that actually sound like fun not like stress tests for your liver. Begining first monday next month so 2 weeks to go. Didn't expect to be excited for a new job since I was jaded as shit.

I set out to run 15 miles this morning, struggled through five, and said "fuck this shit" to the other 10 miles. I am glad I swapped days and didn't do my 80 mile ride today because that would suck to bonk two hours from home.

I suspect they hate being with each other while traveling. And they're figuring settling down will help. Once they realize it won't, and they still hate being with each other, they'll decide to have a kid or 3, hoping that will help. Which it won't. :homer:

Goddammit. Now I'm hungry for some soppressata.

Trying to organize going out to a cinema as an adult is a PITA. I go alone for that reason.
that's pretty much all of adulting except work. but fuck work.
Yeah. I'm always the guy who organizes birthdays and jesus that's a pita.

Also it is annoying with driving to the hills for some bike time. It's like herding cats. People seem adult and then you try to organize them and they made more sense as kids.

1. Yeah i was sceptical before too but so far all I get are good vibes and little BS. Might be less rewarding since no Cannes film festival and forcing my boss to release some movies in Cinemas but it's still influential and I won't be sure before I try it. At least I will learn something new since I can do my current job without thinking.

2. Yeah all John Wick movies are awesome. The basic premise is idiotic but the internal logic of the world makes sense. They are top3 action movies of the XXI century next to Mad Max and Raid films

The basic idea is dumb as bricks. When I read the script I literally wrote to my boss "this is a good script but watch out since the basic premise will put off many people since". A guy kills everyone because they killed his dog. The guy is an the killiest of all the killers and everybody is scared of him even Superman. So yeah not a serious film. If you go expecting a Tom Clancy novel you will be dissapointed but as someone mentioned it's a bit like "harry potter which killers instead of Wizards" and then it's easy to suspend your disbelief.

Also it's the perfect drunk movie.

Also best action choreography.

It is cheesy. Especially the first one but how can you not enjoy when a Mafia boss realizes his idiot son just killed the dog of basically the boogeyman of the underworld. It's not a movie to be treated seriously.

VdP's win on the road in the Amstel Gold race last month was amazing.
i was just reading about that this morning. i wonder how he's gonna do this season. he's such a great all around rider, but a lot of his road / cx tactics haven't translated to as much success in XCO.
