Derp be strong, coffee better cut though the brain fog or I'm screwed this morning. First client is at 5am.

My old phone died so I picked up a Moto z4, cheap with a good camera. Spent last evening upgrading apps and figuring out how shit works

Dogs hated the fireworks, all three slept cuddled up next to me on the bed.

Too much beer last night apparently, as my head is quite foggy this morning.

Going up to lady friends cottage for the weekend. Hopefully MOAR beers, beach/swimming and riding on rox.

Work now. But first, I am going to WINDOWS BUTTON + L, walk down the hallway, make a left into washroom and release whatever is boiling inside of my bowels.

Woke up to a tick attached to my scrotum. :panic:
I hope you have a friend who can help with that... :brows:

Rode last night. It was hot as ballz. felt like 99° with the humidity (91° without). Still did a substantial loop, but it finished with a fast gravel descent to a lake. We had beers in the lake, and one buddy even had icecream bars on hand... Not sure I'd do it again though.

Gonna be even hotter and moister today. :fie:

Lots of sore from karting. I'm technically working today, but all of my clients are government, so... I have lots of catching up to do and emails to send

I've twisted the fucker out solo at 1h30am.
Had a conversation with my boss last week about how bullshit my job is, he is cool and I can be honest with him. He asked what was keeping me out here. I have thought about that a lot for the past week, questioning whether I should stay out here. My conclusion was yes: because I haven't seen all the mountains yet and I have yet to see a tick.

Vermont is getting ridiculous tick wise. Fortunately, home is tick free, but creeping up north fast. :(

Virginia was horrible when I left. Pulled 20 ticks off of myself after a ride once even after bathing in DEET. Just walking to the Mailbox would result in one or two crawling up the leg.

Scheduling a meeting for Monday and I just noticed that I now have the option of doing a regular old phone bridge conference, a WebEx, Skype meeting or a damn Microsoft Teams meeting.

How does anyone keep up with this stuff. Teams is like OneNote, a great place for shit to be filed and forgotten about. Oh yeah, like SharePoint.....

Damn, my coffee is empty.

We've got them here in Onterrible. Signs are going up at most major trailheads around Toronto.

It sucks, but I'll be more worried when I start seeing more ticks than empty Tim Hortons cups tossed out on the trail.

One of the Rangers told me about a weird after effect of a tick bite. His friend became intolerant to eating meat after getting sick from a tick bite.
Not just meat, any food made with a specific red meat protein. So all bunch of non red meat related food. :(

I have no idea where I am
Ticks, rain, humidity, lightening, meth heads, oppressive heat, bears, spiders, etc., I'm still going to ride and hike. Maybe I'll get a flesh eating bacteria or a brain worm after getting mauled by a meth addled bear, so there is that.

Seriously ?

Always before, got to use the Rapid Deploy yarn. Otherwise how would you distract a mountain lion ?
An amazing girl I know designed a prototype fanny pack hot dog launcher when I moved to CO, to distract hungry beasts whilst hiking and riding. Remote controlled and built in snacks if no beasts show themselves.
