I doubt I would go gas. I have 4600 pounds of camper in the bed and 7000 pounds of horse trailer being pulled. That is diesel country in the hills. Now if I didn't have the horse trailer I might consider it
The 7.3 gasser is aimed right at the towing market. Specs haven’t been released but I bet it’d handle that load just fine in F-350 DRW.

That said, sticking with used vehicles +/- tossing $4,800 into them now and then is much cheaper than depreciation on a new rig.

I agree with this. If I still lived at or visited elevation regularly I’d go diesel again.

I am too and that’s the component I want to see some real world results from. My truck has been bombproof (6.2 with same trans as 6.7) and extremely cheap to operate beyond fuel costs. I’m hopeful the new 10spd will deliver the same reliability. Speculation on power is 500hp/560tq range.

7.3 crate engines will find themselves in lots of restomods too.

Chevy is releasing a new 6.6 to compete, with rumors of the 8.1 coming back too.
Going with the Tremor package on the next work truck? It bros it out but maintains payload and towing capacity.

Too brodozer for me, I like them understated.
I think the 7.3 will be entertaining in a f350 with the right gearing and nanny systems turned off. Would love the blower but that money’s better spent on bikes.

This day sucks

Months ago I signed a contract to provide EMT services for this weekend. It was spelled out that my fee was x and that they were to provide me with a spot in the RV Lot at the facility. I get an email today saying that they did not book me a hotel room. Did I need one? Say the Eff what? I replied no, the contract specifies that I will have an RV site. They came back that they were all taken. I almost told them to go pound sand and find another EMT on 24 hrs notice. I replied you are going to find me a flat spot and my rates just went up by $100 to cover my generator use and fuel or KMA. I have too many friends competing to screw them and their plans by just walking away. They can find someone else next show
